Oroblu is hitting the blog again, and this time we are working with thinner deniers because I am dying to get back into thinner deniers and lighter colours for Summer. I am practically done with this colder weather and layering clothing – as much as I have fun doing so, I’m getting a little bored…

This pair was gifted from my Amazon Wishlist.
Materials: 86% Polyamide, 14% Elastane
Bringing out on of my old classic pieces for a night out today. I paired my batwing tunic, with a simple pair of heels to create a chic look. I added a long jacket when I was out and about.
Tunic: River Island
From The Website: Very sheer, sheer to waist, very fresh tights thanks to the precious and very thin yarns. Makes legs more beautiful and elegant “without being noticed”. The invisible toe, allows to wear freshness tights GEO 8 even with open shoes. Flat seams, with cotton gusset. Maxi size with big gusset. Formed.
Getting Them On: I had to get the hosiery gloves out as they are super delicate, and there is no way I want to be creating any snags in them whilst I am rolling them on. I took care getting these on over my feet and anklets, before I did a smooth glide up the legs and set them in place.
On The Legs: can I just say how gorgeous these look on the legs!? I love how fine and barely there they are, which is something I miss with winter weater. I don’t mind wearing them in colder months, but that means more clothes are on to compensate for the lack of it on my legs.
The quality of this pair is really nice, and one of the reasons I love Oroblu! They never disappoint in this area, and I can say they stayed snag-free and damage-free for the whole evening.
The fit of these are perfect. I felt I had enough material and stretch in a Small to achieve even leg coverage. There was no gapping to be found, and I certainly didn’t need to tug or pinch/pull them into place either. If I went one size up, these would have shaded slightly darker with the extra material I get to play with. If you are in-between sizes, I would advise going one size up.
The feel of these are super smooth, and so soft against the skin. I didn’t have any issues with it irritating my skin either. They literally felt like I wasn’t wearing any, which is what hosiery is supposed to feel like.
The Toes & Ankle: these don’t come with reinforced toes, which is a shame, But the plus side is that you can wear with any footwear you like, without having to worry about a darker reinforced toe.
I had plenty of wiggle room in these, and no pressure was added during my wear.
Around the feet and ankles, these have a lovely smooth finish, with no wrinkling.
The Waistband & Gusset: now this is where I found issues. The waistband is slim, which isn’t an issue; until it starts rolling down on itself. I found this to occur quite a lot during my wear, which then started digging into my waist. What I do like is the band has reinforcement underneath it and also around the seams.
I had enough stretch in my waistband, so it didn’t feel tight or loose when it was on; the rolling down of the band didn’t help here though.
The gusset sits centre, and is flush against the skin too.
These are such a great pair, and I happily recommend! I love how easy they were to get on, and the fact they stayed damage-free all night really made me smile!
