Oroblu Flower Bouquet Tights

Now let me begin with the 1st out of 3 that I’m about to do which I bought a good month or two ago from Luxury Legs as they were the first ones to have it in stock at the time.

It has been dreadful here in the UK with the weather having a mind of its own, so I decided I am waiting no longer and I wanna get reviewing these now.

So I did put them to the test in cold wet weather to see what they would be like and here’s how it went..

The Spec

Website: Luxury Legs – Oroblu Flower Bouquet Tights

My Outfit

I wore a simple black dress with chiffon puffy sleeves and (of course) my Dune court shoes. I kept my hair down and added small drop earrings to the outfit to give it a little something extra.

I could have gone experimental, but then again I really didn’t feel like it on a Monday morning!

My Deets

The Review

From The Website: Luxury tights with a stay up effect, featuring a beautiful lacy floral pattern. The same floral design is replicated on the panty section, creating a unique overall look that is visually stunning.

The Packaging: very crisp and clean, and (it sounds weird) but the packaging feels really soft to touch as well!

The front is all basic white with the model wearing the hosiery in greyscale, with the back giving you the lowdown on the hosiery:

“Tights with stay-up effect, with lacy floral pattern. Top with panties shape. Flat seam and cotton gusset.”

Getting into them, they’re neatly wrapped around cardboard flat packed so you can slip them straight on!

Getting Them On: okay so you’re working with a mix of lace, net and sheer here so you will need to grab those gloves and roll them on to make sure that you don’t catch any parts of these.

Mine were ok going over my anklets, and up the leg was fine too. I didn’t come across any snags to begin with (sometimes you can) which is a bonus!

On The Legs & The Design: so I gotta say these really remind me of the Pierre Mantoux Willa Holdups I did a while back with the florals and those strips that run through them. These do have a holdups kinda look going on with the print starting from the toe seam working to mid thigh before it becomes all plain and sheer.

I love this type of design; it’s classy, sexy, and actually gorgeously different. It’s quite heavy and bold, but then again that sums me up to be honest. It stands out so well, and pairing it with black works even better to help tone it down if you wish (that wasn’t my intention at all, I just wanted to wear that dress after so long of it being hung up!)

The denier is great; it covers any stubbly hair growth you may have (mine always comes back after laser before it falls out again) which worked perfectly for me. It also helps the floral design to really give that statement look.

Now the quality is decent on these; I find Oroblu to be amazing with their designs but sometimes their quality can be a hit or miss, and this time I really liked them! No snags, no pulls or runs either.

The Toes & Ankle: all smooth and no wrinkles is just what I like to see! The toes have enough wiggle room in these and they are actually ok to walk on all day. You can get some nets and lace which do dig into your feet, but these are comfortable enough.

Oh let me mention that these are not reinforced, so do think twice about wearing them if you have long nails that you don’t wanna trim!

Around the ankles, there is no crinkling at all, which is perfect because I hate it when it’s a net type of hosiery and it starts to slowly fall down and gather around this section and you can’t hide it!

The Waistband & Gusset: started off being my best friend until I realised by the end of the day it started rolling down itself. I have no complaints here to begin with – it’s snug, doesn’t feel too tight and holds its elasticity throughout the day too.

When I decided to check on it at the end of the day, I found that it slightly rolled down at the top. I didn’t find it an issue as my dress was a baggy one for once, whereas if it was a bodycon I would have been unimpressed!

The gusset on these are cotton, however let me mention that these are quite badly sewn on. It’s not a perfect finish on them, but more of a quick rush job trying to get the cotton piece on. Not too happy with that, but hey what can I now do?!

My Thoughts?

Going on the quality and the design, I gotta say get yourselves a pair! I love them and the whole look; perfect for those who like the whole mock holdup look as well!

It can seem a little on the darker side, but don’t let that put you off if you’re into your lighter deniers. I love the whole floral twist on these, and if you’re looking for a bold statement with a touch of feminine, then here you go!

  1. I quite like these. But I think they would have more impact with a tighter skirt. I love the hd close-ups. I like to see the detail of the stitching. It makes it easier to imagine what they would feel like to the touch.
