Nudes in A/W? – Why not? It’s been a while since I’ve been in any type of nude and I actually miss it. I know it’s not something that is done when it starts getting dark and dull outside, but now and again, it’s nice to switch it up when you got the right outfit!

I had a quick change this morning, going from a white t-shirt to my fluffy jumper to pair with my midi skirt – so keeping the look warm and snug keeping the nude legs toned down rather than pairing with a shorter skirt and making it look like “What the hell is she wearing?!”

My Outfit

So the fluffy jumpers are back out! I teamed it up with my tan suede midi skirt and my black court shoes. Keeping it casual at the top and working into smart at the bottom!

I added a gold torque necklace and small gold studs to make it look a little more dressy.

Hair was done in pigtails as it’s a hair wash day and I really couldn’t be bothered to do anything with it!

The Review

At a more conventional 15 denier, this sheer to waist and flat seamed item is still as subtle but will last longer and has a richer and more noticeable shade to it.

The Packaging: very crisp and clean! The front is all basic white with the model wearing the hosiery in greyscale, with the back giving you the lowdown on the hosiery:

“Very sheer tights, sheer to waist. Flat seams invisible under clothing. Cotton gusset. Maxi size with big gusset. Invisible and resistant toe”

Getting into them, they’re neatly wrapped around cardboard with the subtle leg shaping too! Perfect to get on as easily and quickly as possible!

 

Getting Them On: so I advise hosiery gloves with these as they are super delicate and the last thing you want is a run going down them! These are easy to get over smooth anklets, so anything sharp I would be extra careful getting them over it. These are so quick to get on; after pulling over anklets, I literally pulled them all the way up and job done! I didn’t have to spend time adjusting! I am normally careful with my hosiery but from time to time, I do like to be rough with them to see what they’re like. A lot of people who aren’t hosiery addicts would just normally pull up and not care, and if they get a rip who cares? But I like to not only take care, but also trial them out and see what they would be like if I am rough with them!

 

On The Legs: I swear I can hardly tell I’m wearing them. I got a colour that added a slight tan to the legs to enhance them and damn! You can’t even see it on! They’re super smooth and so silky as well. They have a gorgeous shine on them which just looks like you have oiled up legs! In the light, you can totally tell as the light bounces off them, and when you’re stepping out and about, they just look like nude legs! I am loving these!

I love how they are 15 denier too; minimal coverage for those who aren’t really into hosiery (or just wanted a thinner denier) and they still make your legs look great!

One little tester I like doing with my hosiery is scratching them; just to see how they’re like, if they catch easily etc. With these, even against the fingernails, they are so smooth and so silky. It’s seriously like a second oily skin on top!

 

The Toes: and yes babes these are reinforced! I am so happy about this because it means you don’t have to worry about long nails, or peep toes or adding extra pressure onto this part! I love it when hosiery does that – it gives you one less thing to worry about (I always worry about keeping them pristine!)

There’s plenty of wiggle room in these as well, and no added pressure on them during the day in tight shoes! Normally you can with some hosiery where your toes actually ache, but you certainly won’t with these!

 

The Band: a super comfortable one to the point I can’t feel it on my waist. IT has a lot of stretch in there and it does keep it no matter how many times you pull and tug it! It sits just around my belly button which is perfect for me. I don’t like it when it sits higher up as I just feel uncomfortable, and when you’re sitting down the whole day, you can just feel it roll down!

 

My Thoughts?

Perfect nude pair. I have no complaints! I love the quality, love that shine on the legs in the light and the barely-there look in dull daylight! Snagging wouldn’t be a big issue if you get a colour that is near enough your skin tone as it wouldn’t be as visible as it would be in darker shades. I love the feel; that is something that you could expect with CDR hosiery!

I know it’s a bare basic pair, but these would do you day or night, as a base for other hosiery layers, on its own or on top to add shine!
