Oroblu Bicolour Lace Tights

Oh I know these are gonna be a great pair already, as I do love me some Oroblu! Their quality is pretty much spot on, and very much how like Wolford in my eyes!

If you didn’t know already, these types of patterns I used to wear A LOT back in the day – it was one of my favourites to create a statement look without trying! Anyways, getting back to it… Let us continue with the review!

The Packaging

Getting Them On: as these are a size medium, I have a little more material to play with, so I didn’t have to tug them up the legs as much. I did my scrunch and roll from the toes to the anklets, and then I slowly get it go whilst I was moving up the legs. I did have to pinch and move in some places, but other than that they went on with ease.

I was also careful going over my anklets just in case it caught on – they were perfectly fine 🙂

On The Legs: I have to say that I am loving this heavy floral design. One thing I really like is that this is not all black – it is a black smooth net base with a dark grey floral pattern. This doesn’t make it look dark and heavy like some can, but a little lighter which I think works so well with darker outfits. You can get these in various colours, but I went with the ‘safer’ option as I wanted to create a look like this for so long!

The quality of these are great; as soon as they are out the packaging and a whole day’s wear, they are snag free! They are a beautiful pair that hug the legs really well and this had extra stretch to them too.

The fit of these are great, and as these are a size up from what I would normally get, I had plenty of stretch and material. I feel if I went for a size small, these would be stretched out more and look a little lighter on the legs. However, there are no complaints from me as I still like the way they look really!

The feel of them are really soft, and the floral design has a cotton-like feel to them. They aren’t cotton but when you touch them, they have a different feel that you wouldn’t normally get on tights to them; I quite like it to be honest. However I will say that the floral design does pick up particles and fluff very easily, and I had to keep picking it off during the day – something to be a little vary of.
The net on these are so soft and really smooth on the legs, so you shouldn’t have any issues with irritation.

The Toes & Ankle: unfortunately these do not have reinforced toes to them, which is a shame. However, you do have the whole design working from the toe seams all the way to the waistband, so you can easily wear these with peep toe or open toe shoes and sandals.

I had plenty of wiggle room, especially that I went one size up. It was a lovely smooth fitted finish around the feet and ankles too.

The Waistband & Gusset: check out this band and reinforcement! The band itself is pretty slim and the rest is all this lovely, thick reinforcement. It makes it sit so smoothly on the waist, without the band rolling down on itself or shimmying down the waist.

The band is really comfortable, and has plenty of elasticity in them so it hugs the waist well without squeezing you.

This also comes with a small gusset, that sits flush against the skin!

My Thoughts?

To sum it up… I really love this pair, and I absolutely love the design on them. They fit really well, they are super soft and they look incredible! I would happily recommend these!
