Shoe Reviews

Onlymaker Rhinestone Stripe Pointy Toe Slingback Stiletto High Heel Sandals

I have another pair of glam Onlymaker shoes hitting the blog today, and I am super excited about these. They remind me of Jimmy Choo’s (they don’t have ankle straps and are more of a mule than shoe) so to get my hands on the next best alternative I am so happy about!

You will see the full outfit I have paired with these tomorrow as I ended up creating a last minute outfit!

The Review

The Packaging: these always come in a good thick box, which protects the shoes completely. I was super happy that I got a scented rose in my box too!

Gushy moment

Anyways, the heels are wrapped in their own mesh bags and padded at the front with wrapped tissue paper to help keep the shape of the point. These came with no scuffs or markings.

Getting Them On: these were easy to get into. You slip your foot in, making sure your tights don’t catch the diamantes on top, and then buckle up around the ankles. You have a lot of room in these for your feet to move about before you buckle them in, so it shouldn’t be an issue to get them on.

On The Feet: well let me start off with the diamante part on the front of the foot. This sits on the arched part, and well this doesn’t fit me. They are slightly raised at the top, and do not flatten no matter how hard you try. The good thing about this for people with bigger feet; these have elastic at the side so if it is too tight, it stretches out slightly for you. I can’t say this helped me in any way but oh well.

The ankle strap is great; I thought I would need to punch more holes in as I like a tight fit, but these did just fine. What I did recognise is that the tighter you do them around the ankle, the more loose they become at the back. I saw in some of the images below the strap sticking out at the back, and as I loosened the strap, this wasn’t an issue anymore. So that was a little annoying but not a massive biggie in my eyes.

The fit of these are true to size, so I would make sure you check the sizing guide before you purchase a pair. Mine fit me just right at the back and front, but at the sides where the heels open up a little, this did dig in after a few hours so it wasn’t the comfiest. If I went 1 size up, I think I would have been ok and could have easily padded it out.

I will say that my feet don’t slip around in these. I thought they might, especially with hosiery on but they actually don’t at all.

The quality of them are great; the diamantes were my main concern and I did pick at them to see if they come off easily – they don’t by the way which I am happy about. I will say that the patent will stuff easily (purely because patent does that) so just make sure that you take care when you’re in them.

The heel height is pretty high, which makes them look even more stunning and enhances the legs greatly. I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t normally wear high heels or if you practice in them a little before you step out.

My Thoughts?

I really do like these, but I wish they fit a little better where I had issues. I love the look of them; they’re such a classy pair of heels to have. I fell in love as soon as I saw them and would certainly recommend them!
