Missguided White Polka Dot Mesh Socks

Lordie, it has been a while since I have reviewed socks on the blog. I have done a few promo posts on Instagram in them, but I actually missed doing the full shebang review!

Well this pair I am bringing to you today, is a pair which is no longer available from the store I purchased it from online, however I am sure if you search for it, some similar styled may pop up…

My Outfit

I am feeling funky; I am in the mood to create some statement outfits and not so many office-wear ones. I paired up my t-shirt mesh dress with a buckle waist belt and added some simple court shoes with the socks to finish off the look.

You could easily switch them to flats or pumps to make it a little edgy/boyish if this is too girly for you.

The Review

The Packaging

On The Feet: getting these on were super simple. I kept the seams inside the feet and ankle, so they aren’t on show too much.

They are slightly shaped to your feet at the front, but I will say if you are bigger than UK 6 in shoe size, you may struggle getting into these. They are quite slim.

The quality is not bad; you can tell these are a cheap and cheerful pair from China, but I can see these only lasting a few wears. You can feel how thin they are when you touch them, and these are the type to rip super easy if you catch them.

The feel of them are not bad; they are a little rough but I creamed my feet and legs, so it wasn’t too bad to wear.

I do like how sheer they are, so they aren’t looking too white on the feet. I like that they have the skin colour coming through a lot more. The large polka dots look super cute I have to say – it is one of my favourites for sure!

With this pair, you can either let them naturally crinkle down the ankles or you can keep them up and straight with other footwear. I prefer them to naturally fall so they give that chic look, but it’s optional.

My Thoughts?

A favourite for sure, as I love the look of them. I wish the quality was a little better, but there isn’t much I can do there to be honest. Otherwise they are not a bad pair!
