Yep we are back in grey, and this time going for a higher denier than the Frola pair I did last week. It’s been a super fun few weeks trying all these brilliant colours out, and I am happy to be toning it down with greys for a work outfit.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: these were super simple and easy to roll on this morning. I didn’t have to worry about my anklets at all, as they glided right on past as I got them on and popped them in place.

On The Legs: the colour feels a little more bluey than the last pair I did. It has a slight undertone to them, which I don’t mind to be honest, but I think the black brings it out. I also found them to be quite sheer, which I don’t mind to be honest.

The quality of these were good; I like that they didn’t snag or damage easily, which is a biggie for me as you know. They stayed looking pristine the whole time, and I was super pleased with that.

The fit of these were nice. I felt medium fit me perfectly well, whereas a small would have felt a little snug on the legs, and it would look a lot more sheerer too. I did achieve even leg coverage as well, which is always a bonus.

The feel of them are soft, and smooth on the skin. I didn’t experience any irritation either, so that’s a bonus!

The Toes & Ankle: these apparently come with reinforced toes. I can’t see any lines or different stitching to show it is reinforced. I’ll believe it has it so let’s crack on. These come with a nice amount of stretch, so there is no pressure added to the toes. I had plenty of wiggle room too.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: so this is supposed to be a control top waistband – if I am honest, it doesn’t look or feel like one at all. It feels like any other pair of hosiery. Usually with control tops, you see different stitching or panels to show the back and front of it, but not with this pair.

The band itself is good; it holds up really well, doesn’t roll down on itself or shimmy its way down my waist either. I like that I had plenty of elasticity in it too so it hugged me during the day.

These also come with a cotton gusset, that sits flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?

For a thicker denier grey pair, these are nice! I don’t know about the control top part, but these are cool!
