Yep I am still rocking thicker deniers, as I quite like simple looks to go with them. I like to mix up my looks now and again, just to show you that sheers don’t always have to be for warmer months and opaques for winter.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll, keeping the silicone bands facing outwards so they didn’t tug on my leg whilst I was rolling them up the legs. I took care going over my anklets and set them mid-thigh this time.
I did adjust them and moved them higher up the legs when I was out and about, but for the review I kept them a few inches down just so they were easy to show off to you!
On The Legs: for 40 denier I am pretty impressed with how dark these are! I thought they would be a lot more sheerer on the legs. I thought they would be lighter on the legs, but these actually are quite a solid block colour which I really like. As these are a duo size, I do feel if you did stretch them out more, they would likely go slightly sheerer, but for me they were a lovely opaque!
The quality of these are lovely; they feel amazing and the don’t rip or snag easily either. I do like Merry Style as they are affordable and very good quality. These are a great pair to be in all day, and especially a great one for those who are always on the move like I am!
The fit is spot on; I had plenty of stretch in these to hug the legs well. I could also sit them wherever I liked on the thighs; I normally sit them higher and I was able to do so without tugging them up a lot. Please do check the sizing guide before purchasing, and if you’re not too sure then go one size up.
The feel of them are so soft and so smooth to touch, they are amazing to be in. They don’t irritate the legs at all, and they are such a gorgeous pair to be in. I had no issues at all and they did keep the legs nice and warm during the day too!
The Toes & Ankle: as you can see below, I had plenty of material around the toes, to the point I could stretch it all out. It wasn’t baggy at all, but just a lot of elastane, so there is no pressure added around the toes, and your toes don’t feel cramped in them either.
Around the feet and ankles, there were no wrinkles to be found. It was a lovely fitted finish!
The Bands: now I am loving this welt; it is so different to what you normally get and it’s one of my favourites! I love that netted contrast to the opaque. The welts have 2 silicone bands sitting at the top, which are nice and tacky and hold up all day really well. They don’t lose their grip easily, which I admire. They are also quite stretchy, so it will fit your thighs no matter how thin or chunky they may be!
My Thoughts?
I’m very impressed with this pair and I would say I have to get something like this into my brand! I would happily recommend these if you like opaques. I love the quality and they were such a lovely pair to be in!
