I had to bring some gorgeous tan tights to the blog! As much as I love layering and doing my thicker deniers, I like to chop and change (if you didn’t know already). As I am in the office all day, it was ok for me to wear just this and not layer heavily.

Keeping it super simple with my shift dress paired with my cream and black knitted heels. I do like how they look like a Chanel pair – to be fair I prefer these than the real thing as the knitted look adds a different dimension.

Comfortable tights, comfortable to wear
The Packaging
Getting Them On: I cannot express how delicate these are. I had to take my time to make sure that I don’t cause any damage whilst getting them on (nope the hosiery gloves are not around today to help me get them on). I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets. It was a lovely, smooth shimmy up the legs before setting the in place with this great waistband.
On The Legs: well these look like I’m not wearing any at all! They are practically like a second skin with a touch of colour, making my legs look naturally tanned. I think it’s a beautiful colour and one that can work all year round; on its own and layered.
Another bonus point is that these are slightly scented. I didn’t expect them to be, but I quite like it.
The quality is really good, after a day’s wear. I didn’t occur any damage to them, especially as I thought I caught it a few times (clearly near misses). I will say these can easily get damaged as they are super thin for a 15 denier – they are more like 8-10 on the legs to be honest. I like it, but it also means I have to be wary in them, especially if I am pairing up with shorter clothing.
The fit of this pair is spot on. I has enough stretch in these to give me great leg coverage, and these did not shimmy down the legs once I had set them in place. There was also no gapping behind the knees or around the ankles either. If you’re unsure, go one size up but to be fair you should be ok going with your normal size.
Now let me tell you how nice these feel on the legs! They are so silk soft, and amazingly smooth on the legs. These certainly don’t irritate the skin at all, and they are a great pair to be in all day long. I love how they literally felt like a second skin.
The Toes & Ankle: so this part is where I get a little confused. I am not too sure why the reinforced toes are so big! I can understand on RHT stockings or similar pairs, but not on normal tights. It made wearing these heels a little hard, as they did peer through the v-gap at the front. But I really don’t get why they are huge!
Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room and no pressure was added on the toes during the day either.
Around the feet and ankles, it’s a lovely smooth finish.
The Waistband & Gusset: I mean can we talk about how thick this waistband is?! I love this! I know some people may not appreciate it, but I sure do when it’s super silky soft on the tummy and looks this good. I didn’t expect it to be this thick, but I am here for it. It covers most of my stomach and curves with my body. I didn’t feel it restricted me in any way and they stayed up so well without it rolling on itself or shimmying down.
These come with a small cotton gusset, which sits flush against the skin. It’s optional with underwear on this pair.
My Thoughts?
Well these are a great pair for those warmer months, and a pair to layer with in cooler months. I liked the quality and the fit was perfect. I would happily recommend these.
