Marilyn Lux Line Coco Air 5 Stockings
I am back in Marilyn, as this brand is making more of an appearance lately. I was intrigued by this pair, as they state they are 5 denier (which is super low) and not many brands do lower deniers!

Snug and stylish, as the British weather changes its mind on a hourly basis here. I wore my open back jumper tucked into my satin printed skirt. I kept it super cute and simple with matching pumps instead of heels today!

From The Website: Lux Line Coco Air is perhaps the finest and most invisible pair of ultra sheer stockings we have ever had. This is a 5 denier pair of stockings with a stunningly soft and silky material and a smooth finish. It is super durable and will feel as robust as a pair of stockings three times its denier. But the most interesting part about this design is that it has a make up effect, meaning it is ideal for tanned or darker skin tones. This is something you don’t see too often in ultra sheer stockings, but we are so glad Marilyn have given us something as exciting and new as this. If you have a darker skin tone, then try Coco Air 5 and you will have the perfect make up effect stockings for your legs.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: as these are super delicate when you get them out the packaging, I had to get my gloves on to handle them. I took my time doing my scrunch and roll up the legs, especially taking care going over my anklets. I had a great roll up and I set them in place, ready to start my day.
On The Legs: I love that these have a barely there finish to them, which is perfect for the warmer months and if you prefer the barely there look. I love how the colour works so well with my skin tone, so it looks like a make up finish on the legs rather than ‘I’m wearing hosiery’. The denier is super fine, so you will need to take extra care wearing these, especially if you are exposing as much leg as I am today.
The quality of this pair is amazing, even with the denier being super low. I didn’t think they would last me the whole day (if I am totally honest) as I was on the move and kept walking into things – and they really did. I didn’t manage to snag or rip these, which is a huge bonus as I would have cried if they did. I really liked that these are affordable and they do they job!
The fit of these were true to size, and they ere the perfect fit for me. I had plenty of stretch in these for great leg coverage, and I could sit them as low / high as I wanted without any struggle. I would make sure you check the sizing guide before ordering, just so you get the right pair for your legs!
The feel of these are lovely. They are soft, and really smooth against the skin. I had no issues being in these all day, and even in warm weather these don’t itch or irritate the legs.
I will add here that these have such a great lustre shine to them – I tested it with direct sunlight peering into my room at the right time. I loved that these have that added benefit to really enhance the legs, making it perfect for summer.
The Toes & Ankle: now going close up, you can see these have reinforced toes to them. This is brilliant (I am seriously over the moon) as I was hoping they would with a 5 denier pair. I kept my nails short as well with this pair, as I didn’t want to make any unnecessary rips with peep toe shoes.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and there was no pressure added either.
Around the feet and ankles, they have a lovely smooth and fitted finish.
The Bands: with thinner deniers, come thinner welts too! I am working with a lovely slimline one, and I really like it! My belt clasps on well to them, and do not budge once set in place. These come with plenty of stretch, so it sits nicely on top instead of squeezing the thighs.
I sat mine higher up the legs as I was wearing a shorter skirt with this pair, but I could easily sit them lower with a longer skirt.
My Thoughts?
I am in awe of how great this pair is. It is perfect for that barely there look, and amazing to wear during warmer months. I love the quality, and the fit is brilliant too. A pair I will happily recommend!
