The Packaging
Getting Them On: I made sure that I had my hosiery gloves on this morning, to avoid any snags or damage whilst getting them on.
A little scrunch and roll up did the trick for most the way, until the bands decided to roll in on itself and then I had to spend time getting them unstuck from one another.
On The Legs: let me start off with the colour; it’s a nude that is slightly lighter than my skin tone. It’s a nude where it’s more for lighter skinned people than people of colour, so please bear this in mind. It does still suit me to some degree, but you can notice it isn’t my usual skin tone.
The quality of these are pretty decent; Manzi has bee hit and miss for me, but these are ok. I did find patches where it’s defective, and I did manage to snag them too!
The fit of these are true to size, and I had enough stretch in these to achieve a even leg coverage. I did find a bit of gapping happen now and again around the knee area.
If you are in-between sizes, I would advise going a size up just you have a little extra material to play with.
The feel of these are so silky soft on the legs, and feel really smooth to touch. These also have a coating on them to give that glossy shine, which I tried to capture in some images.
The Toes & Ankle: these come with non-reinforced toes. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.
Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth finish with a no wrinkling around the ankles.
The Bands: they have a lovely floral lace design to them, with a scalloped edge. I realised I don’t like the scalloped edge much as it can easy turn in when you take them off and put them back on. I had to keep running my hands around the bands to make sure they sat how they’re supposed to.
I had plenty of stretch in these bands too, and they held up so well during my wear today. I had no issues with the tackiness either.
My Thoughts?
These are a nice pair of holdups, with the smooth glossy shine. But the quality of them are pretty basic. I didn’t like that they had marks dotted around, and that they can snag easily. But apart from that, they did their job! If you’re into glossy pairs and don’t mind them being just average, these are a pair to go for.
