Here come the mocks! I haven’t been in a mock suspender pair in a very long time, so I was super excited to get these on to review! Instead of wearing them for work, I wanted to do an evening out look instead.

I was going to get experimental with colours, but then decided that this dress hasn’t had enough wear. I paired up simple black court shoes to finish the look. You can always opt for silver or dark grey sandals instead.

The Packaging

Well we are off to a good start(!) I forgot to record the unpackaging video and just dived right into the review!

Getting Them On: I have to say these were a breeze to get on. They slipped right on, and going over anklets easily too. I just had to play around with the ‘strap’ part to make sure they sit facing as straight as possible.

On The Legs: now these are fun as well as flirty!! I would usually pair something like these with shorts, but I wanted to do a dress this time to switch it up. I love the glitter bomb with the added thick strap with a sheer base. It works so well! The denier on these are just right; not too dark or too light. Plus I can only imagine what these would look like in the night light!

The quality of these are decent I have to say; Manzi tend to be. I did find a couple of snags but luckily it was further down so it blended in with the lurex.

The fit was great! I had plenty of stretch in these being a one size fits all pair. I suppose the more you stretch them out, the sheerer they could become. Something to keep in mind.

The feel of these are nice. The sheer base on the thighs were no issue at all. I did feel a little irritated with the lurex to begin with, but I quickly got used to that and carried on about my evening. It wasn’t a biggie.

The Toes & Ankle: I believe these don’t have any reinforcement to them, which is fine as the denier is a little thick around the feet. I had plenty of wiggle room for my feet to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, I love that there was no wrinkling to be found!

The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see below, the ‘straps’ go right to the waistband.

The band itself is great; it holds up really well, and doesn’t roll down or shimmy when you’re on the go. It’s quite a thick band, which I like and I know a lot of larger sizes would appreciate a thicker waistband too.

These come with a cotton gusset to them, which sits flush against the skin too.

My Thoughts?

I’m pretty happy with these! I love the way they look, and that silver lurex would sparkle so hard in the right light! The fit was great and the quality was awesome. I would definitely recommend!
