So this blog is me trying out something new; I wanted to see if I could try and style orange tights without looking like a little pumpkin. I got these a while back, and I was toying with them for a good while until I decided to dress them for work and create a super statement outfit.

My Outfit

To keep it office appropriate, I paired up my ribbed top with my tweed multi-coloured skirt and added some black court shoes. I wasn’t too sure how much colour to use in this outfit, so I kept the heels pretty basic this time.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll from the toes to the thighs, taking care of my anklets as I get them on. They were super smooth to roll on, and there was plenty of stretch in them so I didn’t need to tug them up as much.

On The Legs: can I just say how gorgeous this colour is? I have not come across a pair so vibrant before, and still keep its opaqueness too! I thought it might be a little too bright, but then again I paired it with colours that worked well. These would be perfect for dressing up in cosplay, halloween etc. for sure, however I would certainly wear these again on a work or casual basis.

The quality is great; they don’t snag easily or rip and you can spend all day in them without any issues. I did have a lot of near misses, and I can say that these held out well.

The fit is spot on; I had plenty of stretch in them to get great coverage on the legs without feeling I’ve tugged them. They also hugged my legs really well, with no signs of gapping.

The feel of these are so soft, and really comfortable to wear. They do have the microfibre feel to them, however they are super smooth. These don’t irritate the legs at all let me just mention, and they are a brilliant pair to be in all day.

The Toes & Ankle: Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room so my toes didn’t feel cramped at any point. They had plenty of material around them for a comfortable fit.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkles. I did expect some wrinkles to appear as the denier is a little higher, however they never appeared.

The Waistband & Gusset: I got to say I loved how comfortable the waistband is on this pair. They sit around the belly button on me, and stay put all day long. They don’t squeeze my waist, to the point you don’t actually feel them on. They have plenty of elasticity in the band to fit multiple body shapes and sizes too.

They also have a small cotton gusset, which sits flush against the skin throughout the day.

My Thoughts?

I gotta say I really do like this pair. The colour is so vibrant, it fits well and feels amazing on. I think it’s great quality and super affordable for sure! Happily recommend!
