Levante Evolution 80D Velvet Look Tights

Now let me bring the 80 denier version to the blog. I have reviewed these previously with the 50 denier pair, and they turned out to be great. So I have lined up the 80 denier to see if they are any better.

The Review

Available sizes: 1/S, 2/M, 3/L, 4/XL, 5/XXL

The Packaging: there isn’t much to the packaging as you can see below. The front shows the model wearing the pair and the back goes into a little more detail.

When you get in, you will find these folded around plain card ready to get on.

Getting Them On: just like my previous pair, these did have the velvet look to them. As I was rolling them up my legs, they felt so soft! These are fine going over anklets by the way and hosiery gloves aren’t really needed here either.

On The Legs: well let me say these are so nice and thick on the legs. I love hoe opaque they are, and they give such good coverage too. These were still sheer in some parts like the thighs (where they are stretched out), but they were great everywhere else.

The quality of them are amazing; they have kept me warm all day today hence why I could be in shorts and not worry about it. The thickness of the denier means that it would be harder to snag and rip these, so that’s another plus point! These also have a lovely bit of stretch in them so you get a proper hugging fit rather than it being baggy under the knees and around the ankles.

The fit of them are amazing; they were perfect for my legs and I still had enough room and stretch. If you’re unsure, I would recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing but I can say the stretch in them are great!

The feel is just super soft; that microfibre feel which not only feels great but gives it that jet black look. One thing you do need to be wary of is the fluff it picks up along the day too. Apart from that, these look amazing and still give shape to the legs which you can lose something in thicker deniers.

The Toes & Ankle: and this pair did not let me down with the reinforced toes at all! I did expect them to be there as these are a thicker denier, but with that little extra it means your protected. I still would say make sure that your nails aren’t too sharp or long just so you don’t make any unnecessary holes or rips.

Around the toes, they have enough wiggle room and no pressure is applied during the day either. The feet and ankles have a lovely fitted finish with no wrinkles in sight.

The Waistband: is just the same as the last pair I did, except these didn’t roll down like last time. The band itself is a great comfort fit and doesn’t squeeze the life out of you either; I find this sometimes with thicker deniers.

The band is so comfortable to wear around the waist and they hold up the tights so well too. It was a lovely fit and I had no issues with that 🙂

My Thoughts?

Oh yep these are a new favourite. I normally don’t do thick deniers much, but I always look for the ones that are worth it and these certainly are. They kept me warm, they looked amazing, they felt incredible and I can see these lasting me a long time!
