It’s feeling a little chilly, so I decided to dress a little snug today. I know a lot of you may be thinking why I am wearing higher deniers in Spring… If you didn’t know me, I get cold quite quickly and it takes me some time to warm up so when I do feel a chill, I like to pop on thicker deniers or layer up where I can.
Plus I know a lot of people who prefer thicker deniers to cover their legs (out of modesty mainly) but still wish to dress well.
Materials: 73% polyamide, 24% elastane, 3% cotton
Website: Lechery – Vual 70 Tights
I know it isn’t the season for wrapping up a little warmer, however it was slightly chilly today so I decided to create a darker look with a pop of colour. I tucked my jumper into my shorts, added some darker tights and finish off with my suede ankle boots.

These 70 Denier rich and dark opaque tights were made to provide full coverage and protection for your legs during the cooler months of the year. Getting Them On: I did my scrunch and roll up the legs, and glided them right on. I took care going over my anklets, just to make sure they stay in place and roll the rest up the legs and set in place at the waist. There were no issues getting these on this morning 🙂
On The Legs: so I played with a mix of natural lighting and flash, just to see if there was any hidden shine to these tights. I have to say there isn’t, as I aw my natural leg shine coming through rather than the tights having a glistening shine to them. These are a full matte finish on the legs – just saying 🙂
The quality of this pair is amazing; they don’t rip or snag easily even if you bash into things whilst running around (yep this happens a lot). They hug the legs really well and there is plenty of stretch to these tights. As these are a duo size, this means they have a lot more elasticity to them, so you get more material to play with and it hugs the legs really well. You also get a lovely smooth and uniformed finish on the legs, without an ombre-ness happening (I suppose this also depends on your size).
The feel of these are lovely and soft, and they feel amazing on your legs throughout the day. Today was pretty chilly, so these did keep the legs warm for sure. They don’t irritate the skin in any way, and they feel great!
The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes, however as it is a thicker denier – you will have extra reinforcement around this area. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move freely and there was no pressure added either.
Around the feet and ankles, there was a lovely smooth finish with minimal wrinkling due to the higher denier.
The Waistband & Gusset: another great band I am working with here, which I am super happy with. It sits around the waist (belly button on me) and stays put without moving an inch. It did not roll down on itself or shimmy down the waist either, which I am happy with.
This does come with a cotton gusset, that sits flush against your skin during the day.
A really great pair for sure. I love the way they fit and feel on the legs, and I would happily recommend them!
