Roll on my 2nd pair of La Dame De France stockings, and today we have a lovely Mocca colour. I decided to dress these smart casual with a skirt that I haven’t worn for so long!

This pair I am excited about as I am dying to see what the colour is going to be like against my skin tone; whether it will look natural or if it will give me a tan finish.

I paired up my denim shirt with my dark gold pencil skirt. I added some tan court shoes to finish off the look. You can always switch to black or other nude colours to jazz it up.

The Packaging: same as the other pair I reviewed, they come in a white envelope, with the brand on the front and the brand model on the back.

When you get in, you will see the pair folded neatly around plain card and inserted into plastic packaging. This pair comes with leg and foot shaping to it, making it easier to get it on along with a lovely backseam to follow.

 

Getting Them On: I took my time to get this pair on today; I set the sole part under my foot, and then slowly rolled my stockings on, making sure I kept the backseam as straight as I could before setting them in place.

 

On The Legs: Oh my goodness let me start off with the colour of these stockings. I have to say I am crushing over the colour; it’s such a subtle tan that makes the legs look like I had fun in the sun! As i wore a darker gold skirt, it shaded well against it. If I was wearing a lighter colour, I feel these would look a little lighter. Either way I like it. I also have shown what it looks like with and without the stockings on the legs so you can see the difference it made!

I also did a photo using flash so you can see a subtle shine to them. It’s not much but it does look wonderful!

The quality of these are still not letting me down; if anything they are making these my favourite brand to wear! I do love the way they fit and feel on the legs, and they don’t rip or snag easily either. I actually thought I did at one point, but in fact they were untouched!

The fit of these are perfect; they are true to size and they fit so well on the legs. The only time I got wrinkles was when my legs were flat around the knees. Otherwise these hardly wrinkle around the legs! I would recommend checking the sizing guide so you get the right fit for you.

The feel of them are super soft and really silky on the legs; they roll on like a dream and they are so lovely to touch. I adore my pair to bits!

The backseam on these run from the ankle all the way to the reinforced band under the welt. It does sit straight for most of the day, but if you do graze against anything with a little pressure, these can move slightly out of place.

 

The Toes & Ankle: I am crushing over the contrast; the mocca with the black reinforcement parts. It is so gorgeous and looks stunning without shoes on. The toes are reinforced and have plenty of wiggle room to them

The heels also come reinforced, and is joined by a lovely rectangle sole. These curve around the heels before they work into a gorgeous diamond design.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a lovely fitted smooth finish.

 

The Bands: against the mocca is just stunning. I love how thick the welt is with the reinforced band under it. I had mine peering out when I was sitting down, which I loved. They have the brand name in grey on the right hand side, and they are super comfortable around the thighs too. They don’t dig in at all and they open up so fit perfectly on the thigh the 1st time.

 

My Thoughts?

Once again these have impressed me greatly. I loved the way they looked on the legs, they way they felt and that gorgeous mocca colour! I would HAPPILY recommend!
