Keith Haring x Gingerbread Men Tights

I have been super excited about this pair ever since I got them in the sale. I wasn’t going to pay the full price as they were over £15 (even maybe £20) a pair at the time, so I waited until they came down and got myself a few styles from this range.

I don’t think these are available to purchase from the website, so it might be worth finding a private seller if you would like a pair.

My Outfit

I went for a casual look to work today, as I wanted the tights to do the talking for me. I could have gone feminine like I normally do, but these were such a playful pair and I preferred them with an outfit like this to rally show them off. I paired up with a simple t-shirt bodycon dress, added my oversized shirt on top and finished with matching boots.

The Review

The Packaging

Getting Them On: I have to say I was so excited to roll this pair on the legs this morning. I did my scrunch and roll and luckily these aren’t faffy tights, so I didn’t need to have them symmetrical or anything. These were super easy to get on, and they were fine going over anklets too!

On The Legs: I NEED to talk about the design first, because these are way too cool to ignore for a short period of time. I love how these have a repeated pattern all around the legs, starting from the ankles and working its way up, with the additional of a yellow star here and there. I love the flocked feel to them too, which works so well in making them stand out.

The quality of these are always really good, and this pair did not let me down either. These have done so well being snag-free until I was close to taking them off. One thing I did notice is during the day; I found the flock parts to crack in some areas, which didn’t give it a smooth look when you view it up close. It wasn’t a biggie but I did notice this start to happen not long after I got them on and started moving in them.

The fit of these were true to size, and I had enough stretch to achieve even leg coverage. I would advise going a size up if you get a pair, as these don’t have tons of stretch in them. I thought they fit really well and there was no issues with gapping or them falling down during the day.

The feel of these are super smooth against the skin, and there was no irritation either. The flocked part sits on top of the base, so this isn’t really felt on the legs. I did enjoy being in these, and had so much fun with the people who did stare for a while too!

The Toes & Ankle: so another thing to mention about the flocked pattern is that it does rub off, especially around the heels. I found this out as soon as I took my boots off for the day, so it might be worth wearing socks to preserve it if you’re wearing boots. With heels, it might not be too bad.

I did have plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, it’s a smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: this is a great waistband, and one that is super comfortable to wear under fitted clothing. These sat on the waist, and did not move until I moved them myself. They stay in place, and don’t shimmy down, especially when you walk and wear a tight dress – bonus!!

These also sit flush against the skin, so you can choose to go commando if you wish!

My Thoughts?

I love how playful this pair is, and one of the awesomest pair I own to date! I love the look, the quality was great and these were so easy to be in too! A recommendation from me!
