Just Beauty Touch Patterned Holdups

I don’t think I have come across this brand before, but I can’t seem to find much about them online. These were kindly gifted from my Amazon Wishlist to review, and Amazon doesn’t normally give you much info about the brand.

My Outfit

I wore these to work, pairing them up with a cream top tucked into my pleated chiffon skirt. I wanted to get this skirt out a little more as I haven’t worn it for a while. I added simple leather shoes to finish the look.

Getting Them On: I will say these are lack quality (which basically means they will snag randomly) – I managed to snag these whilst getting them on with hosiery gloves. I have no idea how, but I am already not impressed. I didn’t have to tug these up the leg as I had plenty of material to sit them higher up.

These were also fine going over anklets, as long as they are not sharp. They were fine over mine as I took extra care as I didn’t want to snag them even further.

On The Legs: let me start off with the good parts…
I really like the pattern on these. I love the side vines that give it a simple, feminine touch to the pair. These start from the reinforced toe all the way to the bands. I do like how they still stay in shape and don’t distort when stretched out (on me it’s the thighs!)

And that’s it for the good…
The quality of this pair is not worth it. These snag so easily – and I mean too easily here. I manage to get a handful at one stage! Not only that but I don’t see these lasting after 1 wear and wash to be honest. These are cheaply made, and you can tell. What I noticed was those markings and lines down the front and back of the holdups; they are something that you can’t get rid of. I tried rubbing them, smoothing them out etc. but it ended up making it worse.

The fit of these worked for me. I didn’t have to tug at these for me to sit them at the top of the thighs. However this also meant I got wrinkles around the ankles due to the extra material in these. Luckily there was no gapping around the knees so I had a smooth finish there.

The feel of them were not great. I will say these did irritate my skin a little during the day, where I had to cream and then put them back on because it wouldn’t stop. Not only that, they have a rough grainy feel to them which I know a lot of people are not a fan of. These could be so much better, but unfortunately these are a cheap and cheerful pair that will not last long.

I get these are supposed to be more of a semi-matte finish, but I did not like the at all.

The Toes & Ankle: so good news here is that I have reinforced toes, but the bad news is that I managed to snag these up good and proper with my shoes. These are not resilient at all!

Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room. Around the feet and ankles, it wasn’t that great.
I had wrinkling.
I had snags.
I had a rough finish.
I am not happy.

The Bands: okay so it gets a little better here. The silicone bands grip the skin well during the day, but it does start to lose tackiness half way through the day. These are made for not removing the whole day – well I did and I found that it starts to fade to the point it starts to fall down as it isn’t gripping well anymore.

I do like the floral print on the bands, and the depth of them too. They have a great chunky piece, which does look great. The only downside here is that we have weird stitching marks under the bands. I did take a closer look; if the bands were stretched out more, this would open up basically.

My Thoughts?

I personally would not recommend this pair, as there are better brands out there that have a similar design and are much better quality. This pair is more of a one-use and chuck, which is pretty sad but I had too much trouble with them today.
