I do love me some polka dot tights, especially when they are contrasting. I got this pair from ASOS a while back, however when I went to check back for the link, they had been completely sold out. I am not too sure if they are restocking but do keep an eye out.
Anyways, so let me get on with the review for you all!

My Outfit
It was cold but too nice not to be outside wearing a t-shirt! I did a simple pairing today, as I was out and about. I tucked in my t-shirt and bagged it slightly over my skort. I added some simple white pumps to finish the look. You can always change up to boots or some heels if you wanted to give a little oomph to the outfit!

The Review
The Packaging
Getting Them On: these were pretty easy to get on and up the legs. I did my scrunch and roll, took my time over my anklets and rolled up on the rest of the legs with ease. I did find the length of these slightly long, however it just meant that I didn’t need to tug at them so much. I just hope they have a good fitted finish on the legs!

On The Legs: let me just say HELLO SHINE! I did not expect this pair to have a shine to them, until I looked down and saw them glistening away in the sun. This was a little something extra, and I absolutely love it! It is pretty subtle, but it works for me!
The quality of the tights are pretty decent, and that is what I like about Jonathan Aston. I will say I did manage to snag these on the thighs a little somehow, but other than that they were fine. The best thing about this pair is that the nude shade matches my skin tone, so you can’t actually see the snags unless you look up close.
The fit of these are great; they have plenty of stretch to them, which means you get a nice hugging fit on the legs. I was a little worried about the length of these, however I didn’t need to worry as they fit me really well with no issues. I would still recommend checking out their sizing guide before purchasing just in case.
The feel of them are just amazing; they are soft, they are smooth, and you can feel that silky semi-gloss on the tights. These do not irritate the legs in any way either, so any sensitive legs should be ok in this pair.
I do love that polka dot design, however I will say I wish they were proper polka dots. You will see they have a shadow behind them – from far you can’t see this, but up close you can notice this. It did irritate me a little, but there wasn’t much I could do about it.

The Toes & Ankle: as you can see, these are reinforced. They have a slightly darker colour on the toes, especially when the flash is on them. The best thing about them is that they have plenty of stretch to cover the toes well, and it doesn’t hit any nail varnish you might be wearing too.
You will also notice the reinforcement is slightly thicker under the toes than on top; not too sure why that is but I wo’t be complaining as I can still get away with wearing open toe heels with this pair.
Around the feet and ankles it is a smooth fitted finish.

The Waistband & Gusset: I didn’t show the waistband or gusset, however I did want to show you all that these have reinforced boxer briefs to them. This start at the top of the thighs and then works into that sheer polka dot design. This acts like a reinforcement around the waist and tushy.
The waistband sat around my belly button and they did not roll down on itself at any point. They sat flat against my stomach and waist. They had plenty of stretch in the waistband and felt comfortable to wear.
The gusset was a small cotton palm-sized piece, which sat flush against the skin.

My Thoughts?
I gotta say this pair nicely surprised me, and I love the design. I had polka dots, I had shine and I had a very good fit. I would recommend these for sure if you can get your hands on them.
