And hello new brand! Now this brand is available in Debenhams (in the UK) – not too sure if you can get it abroad. I got these not long back as I have always wanted to try out store brands instead of the more established (like Wolford, Falke, CdR etc)
So let me give you a little background about Jasper Conran (which is found on his own website)

The Packaging: so the packaging is quite nice I have to say; very bold and eye-catching which does help. The model wears the holdups on the front, but no sign of any shine here let me say!
The back goes into a little more detail about the brand, sizing guide and hosiery care. When you get in, these are flat folded around plain card.
Getting Them On: I gotta say I was impressed with these; they have so much stretch to them I had no issue getting these on. I thought I could only stretch to a certain amount, but nope I could easily sit these as high as I wanted without any tug back from the holdups!
On The Legs: oh my gosh can I just take a moment to appreciate that shine?!
I gotta say that is stunning considering I thought these were just a basic matte pair. I did not expect to see a semi-gloss shine to them whatsoever. I had to check the packaging again in case I missed it – it was not stated anywhere!
This was certainly a nice surprise!
The quality of these are ok but great; I say this because I managed to get a few snags, but they did not turn into anything else after that. These are supposed to be ladder resistant and I can totally see how they are. The way they are sewn and the way they are super elasticated means that these have some good resistance to them. And I did put that to the test as well with how much I stretched them out and tried to nick them. I didn’t get any ladders or rips by doing so which I was super impressed with.
The fit of these are true to size for sure, if anything the small can also fit a medium size quite well too if you didn’t want too much stretch to them. Either way these are stunning on the legs!
Now the feel of them are so soft; like super uber soft. The ones where you can run your hands down them with ease and not have to worry! I just love how great these are and for half the price you would normally pay for an established brand.
The design is super cute with the thick bands and none of the polka dots were distorted on the leg either. I expected them to really stretch out on the thighs (as that what normally happens) but not this time. They kept their shape so well, and no stretched out polka dots to be seen!
The Toes & Ankle: so as you can see, there is a sheer toe area (and still a thinner denier) so you could easily pair sandals with them if you wanted – I wish these were reinforced. I had no issues around the area; plenty of wiggle room, no extra material anywhere and a lot of stretch!
Around the ankles it was a lovely smooth fit!
The Bands: so the bands are quite unique; I haven’t come across a band like this in so long! These have 1 thick silicone strip on the top of them which holds them up. I didn’t have any issues with these:
- No irritation
- No losing grip after taking them off over 8 times throughout the day
- No deep markings on the skin
- No stretching out and losing shape
I found these to be so comfortable on the thighs I actually forgot I had a band around them. Normally you feel it when you sit or move, but these were an absolute dream!
Hands down, I am very impressed with these. I love how they felt and looked on the legs, and they have been so good to me throughout the day too. I love the quality of these, and how much they actually have going for them; ladder resistant, smooth finish and that soft caressing band!
