Hunkemoller Fishnet Hearts Tights

Happy Fishnet Friyayyyyyyyy! Yes I know I haven’t blogged for some time; thank me having some time off and just enjoying being present rather than on social media 24/7.

So I have got my hands on a few pairs of Hunkemoller to try; some I will be blogging about and some I will be just posting on social media. This is the first pair to review, and I am super excited to get back into the swing of things!

My Outfit

Keeping it simple I was going to say, when it isn’t really. I went with my floral lace top, paired with white shorts and I added my glam heels to bring it altogether. I did want to pair these up with a bright outfit, but changed my mind last minute to this ensemble.

The Review

From The Website: These tights will give your outfit a complete boost! These tights are fishnets which makes them super sexy. They’re finished off with nice details all-over. Wear these tights under a gorgeous dress, skirt, or hot pants.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: there is no symmetry with this pair, so I just did a scrunch and roll, and got them on. I did try to keep it as straight as possible as they had a tendency to turn when rolling up.

I did get these on easily, which I am super pleased with. These were also fine going over anklets.

On The Legs: this is such a bold design, and when you look up close, you see these gorgeous little hearts. From afar, I do love the design as you can kinda make out what it is. But I like how it keeps it interesting, which is something I like in a statement pair. The design on these are lovely and I do like the overall net finish, giving texture to the rest of my outfit.

The quality of these are pretty good! I like that they are quite resilient, seeing as I have been tugging at them all day and testing when I need to take them off / put back on during the day too. I also didn’t manage to snag or rip these, which is a bonus!

The fit of these are true to size, and I like that the extra elastane (being a S/M pair), these have allowed me to have even coverage on the legs. I didn’t have any issues with it falling down or feeling too tight/loose.

The feel of these could be better in my eyes. These do have that rough, grainy feel to them which can irritate the skin. Luckily, I creamed my legs before getting these on, so I didn’t feel it that much to be honest as the cream acted like a coating.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes to them, which I am pleased with as they cover the toenails fully before working into the netted design.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see below, the net works right up the slim waistband. I managed to get my fingers and rings tangled in this part a few times, and luckily I didn’t end up damaging them!

The band itself is slim, but it holds up well. I didn’t have any issues with it rolling down on itself, or shimmying down my waist – which is what you want from every pair of hosiery!

These don’t come with a cotton gusset, so I would advise wearing underwear with this pair.

My Thoughts?

I think these are a great statement pair, and I loved styling them. They are great quality, they have been so good to me all day with no issues and I do love that waistband too!
