Henry Holland Knee High Elastock

So these have been nicely sitting snug in my basket of ‘Reviews To Do’ and as I was having a cosy one at home, I decided to pull these out to rock today.

I got these a while back last year (it’s so weird to say that) so I thought now is the best time to get them reviewed as it’s a nice day (considering we are still in winter)

The Review

The Packaging: so these come in a cute little slimline box. The model wears the hosiery on the front and the back goes into minor detail (more about the brand that the socks). When you get in, you will find these cute instructions on how to get them on.

Getting Them On: so these sock can sit thigh high, however they are supposed to be a rouched effect on the legs, so it comes with a thin silicone band that can keep them from falling down under the knee. I left my rouched as it was more comfortable that pulling these thigh high.

On The Feet & Legs: so not bad I must say. These are a ‘one size’ pair so expect these to have a little room if you’re quite slim.

On the legs, the rouched effect does look real good, but oh my god when I say it does annoy me slightly too. I would expect them to be smooth on the legs, so looking down to see the ‘falling down’ effect really kept testing me.

The quality of these aren’t bad; not the best… but hey. I didn’t snag mine but the way they feel I wouldn’t be surprised if they easily did catch and snag. They aren’t the thickest of materials and are more like cheap hosiery.

The fit and feel is ok; the fit is great and with that silicone band is a bonus. That really does help them stay in place throughout the day. The feel of them aren’t really to my liking, but luckily I didn’t pay a lot for these.

Around The Toes & Ankle: so the toes are reinforced and you can see that thin strip across the toes. I can also say these have plenty of wiggle room and extra material on the sides of the toes too. This can’t be helped as it’s generic sizing, so I suppose you just gotta roll with it.

Around the ankles I would like to say would sit lovely, but as we are ‘rouching’ it up – it’s wrinkly.

My Thoughts?

These are ok; for that whole sports look, these work really well and the statement band does help create a fashionable look. However in terms of quality, I’m not too sure to be honest.
