Here we go with Golden Lady. I have tried this brand in the past, and really liked it, so I wanted to give their opaque seamless tights a go. I will try to be as unbiased as I can, as naturally I compare seamless tights with my own brand – so I will try my best not to do in today’s blog 🙂

Covering up a little today as I am trying to get more wear out of these thigh high boots! I went with my oversized jumper tucked into faux leather shorts and added my long boots to finish the look. It’s still freezing in the UK, so trying to be practical, but also fashionable!

The Review
From The Website: Golden Lady Liberte Absolute, formerly My Beauty, is a unique new design. It is a seamless tights design, but the unique thing about them is that they are one of our most inexpensive items and they are incredibly priced for a seamless design. Most seamless tights are three times the price of Liberte Absolute, but because Golden Lady have been producing incredible hosiery for so long and have spent years innovating new manufacturing methods, they’ve developed designs that are easy to make and have passed that saving on to you. The quality of these new tights are unbelievable and it is perhaps the best product you can buy for quality and affordability.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: like any other seamless pairs, I always take my time getting them on so I don’t end up damaging them before they have even had the chance. I did my scrunch and roll wearing hosiery gloves, and rolled them up the legs before setting in place.
These were fine going over anklets too.

On The Legs: okay here we go! So these are a lovely opaque, which I was hoping for. They are not too dark for 50, which I like and work perfectly well with the outfit too.
The quality of this pair, is really nice. I found them to be great to me all day, with no issues. Then again I had thigh high boots on, so it saved me from damaging them too. I didn’t encounter any snags or rips this time around, but I will be testing them out again with another outfit soon and baring most of my legs to see if I can still keep it snag/damage-free.
The fit of these are true to size, and I liked that I had even coverage on the legs too. I was worried that it might be an ombre effect, but no sign of that here. These do have a nice amount of stretch to them, as you can see below.
The feel of these are super soft, and really lovely against the skin. I had no issues with irritation on my skin. These also were lovely to wear under my boots as well, where they didn’t rub and cause any friction, but just sat and glided underneath instead. This also did cause my boots to slightly slip down as it was super smooth, but no biggie there.

The Toes & Ankle: unfortunately these don’t come with reinforced toes, which is a shame. I had plenty of stretch around the toes, as you can see below – which means I didn’t have any pressure put onto my toes during the day and they had plenty of wiggle room too.
Around the feet and ankles, I have a lovely smooth finish, with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: now the waistband is something that is super important to me when it comes to a seamless pair. I like a good, proper waistband where I know I don’t need to worry about it in any way. With this, I felt it was a little on the slimmer side, but it did the job well. I felt it held up really well and it didn’t move as much – there was slightly movement and a little shimmy down at times, but nothing too major.
These don’t have a gusset to them, which is common with seamless pairs. Not that I mind, as it is super comfortable and form fitting.

My Thoughts?
Not a bad pair at all! I like the quality and the fit for sure, and the opaqueness is just right! Definitely would recommend this pair!
