I haven’t done a look like this in some time, and I do love this skirt! I went with my silk top paired with my lace trim skirt and added rivet studded shoes to finish the look.

The Review

These tights are rich and beautifully patterned, with heaps of detailed to enjoy. But they are also plain at the front, and this provides them with heaps of contrast. They are highly attractive and head turning, giving your legs so much sex appeal. If you want something stylish and innovative, and you want your tights to be flattering too, then go no further than Chaque Fois.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: so I am gonna wear them how the model shows them on (I like to do the opposite sometimes) – with the thicker denier on the back. I did my scrunch and roll, taking care going over my anklets as I roll them up.

I had no issue with my roll up; I just had to take my time to make sure they were sitting even on both legs before setting them in place.

On The Legs: these look amazing! I know they are a little dark for this time of year, but I mean it’s hard to resist when they look this good right?! Plus paired with a little faux leather, it’s a win! I do like the contract they have; the back being darker and front a lot more sheerer, with the side floral design combining them. I like when you’re looking front view, you see the floral pattern creeping in from the sides.

The quality of these really took me by surprise; I actually found markings to these, which sucks! Normally Girardi is amazing, and their quality seems to have fallen slightly. I managed to keep these snag-free which is a bonus, but those lines I can’t seem to get rid of unfortunately. There were some parts in the floral stitching where the threads didn’t have a clean finish to them, but that’s only if you look up close in certain parts.

The fit of these were perfect; I had plenty of stretch to them which works for me. The only thing I didn’t like is that it wrinkles behind the knees when I’m sitting during the day. Not a massive biggie, but something worth noting if this annoys you as much as it does me.

The feel of them are lovely and soft against the skin; both inside and out. I didn’t have any issues with irritation, which I was worried I might with the floral side seam.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes, which I love. These also work into the thicker denier parts. These cover most of the toes, which I am happy with.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth finish at the front, with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: so the band here has a scallop design to them, which I think is a nice touch. You don’t see many brands that do this. The band itself is soft, stretchy and holds up well. It does have reinforcement underneath it, which is super subtle.

My Thoughts?

I think this pair looks lovely, and is perfect for those who like darker deniers. I wasn’t too pleased with the quality, but not much I can do about that. I would still recommend them for sure if you don’t mind spending a bit!
