Yep the stockings are back out, only because I have a thing for them at the moment. I like to save Gerbe for semi-special occasions, however today I just felt like wearing them for a day out.

My Outfit
I kept it smart casual, with a little oo-la-la to it. I wanted to go for a semi-Parisian theme, and I thought this worked well. I paired my t-shirt with a skater midi skirt and added fluffy heels to give it a little jazz.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: as always, I took care doing my scrunch and roll up the legs. I’ll try not to say too much here about them, but I was not impressed.
Once I set them in place I hooked on my clasps and started my day.

On The Legs: let me start off by saying that these are the worst pair of Gerbe stockings I have ever come across. I don’t know what happened but this was terrible. The quality was so poor; it came with snags and markings before I even got them on and I made sure I took extra care too. I was not impressed at all…
The fit was just right which is a plus point. I had plenty of stretch in these so they could sit higher up the thigh than normal. There was also no gappig around the ankle or knees, so I had a flush finish.
The feel of them were rough; grainy and not smooth whatsoever. I have to admit they were uncomfortable to wear and I actually could not wait to take them off. They itched my legs a lot during the day, to the point I had to roll them down a little for a while just to let them breathe before I rolled the stocking back on.

The Toes & Ankle: as you can see below, these have a reinforced toe as well as heel to them – which I quite like. The reinforced toe covers the toes properly, which I am happy with. However, I have to say these were tight around the toes, and I did feel the pressure against the toes during my wear too.
With the reinforced heels, I wish these covered more of the heel rather than the lower part of my foot. Normally this would wrap around the heel but I felt these ran short around the feet.
Around the feet and ankles, it was smooth with no wrinkling to be found.

The Bands: okay so overall the bands were good, but they could have been so much better. I felt they did squeeze my thighs a little, so I wasn’t too pleased with how it looked. Luckily I was wearing a flowy skirt so it didn’t show through.
Now let me get into the nitty gritty; the reinforced part under the welt is half finished. You can see in some sections that there is a seam and then there isn’t. I don’t get how this would have passed a quality check to be honest. I really felt the quality lagged a lot, and it shows from toe to welt.

My Thoughts?
Not a bad pair, but not one I would recommend to be honest. If this is what you get for paying full price, I would not want to promote this at all. The quality was so bad, and not to the normal Gerbe standard I have seen and tested before.
