So I got my hands on another pair of Gerbe off eBay – and once again with very limited packaging and information about them.

My Outfit

Smarty pants to work today – for no reason at all. I wanted to pair with some more Spring-like colours rather than black or monochrome. I wore my pink sheer blouse (with matching pink cami) tucked into my high waisted bodycon skirt. I added my new favourite court shoes to finish off the look.

The Review

The Packaging: now as these were from someone who was selling a few pairs, they weren’t in the actual Gerbe packaging, so basically I was going with the flow when I purchased them. it does tell you the size on the white tab but that’s about it.

When you get in, you will find these flat folded around really thin card (almost paper like) and ready to get on. And unlike last time, there were no signs of any snags 🙂

 

Getting Them On: excuse my serious face here. I was trying so hard to grip these with my long nails getting in the way!

Like my other pair, these were easy to get on the legs and I had no issues in doing so 🙂 I found them slightly tight to begin with around the foot, otherwise it was fine up the legs.

 

On The Legs: once again they are looking stunning. The same kind of coverage as last time, the same type of look and the same quality as before.

These are virtually identical to my Azur pair, and I have to say I am falling in love with these stockings. Not only do they ooze class, but they are so good to your legs and complete your outfit so well!

They fit so well with very mild wrinkles in places which I don’t mind from time to time.

 

The Toes & Ankle: now this time I don’t have that whole sole patch underneath but the reinforced toe and heel part.

These had enough wiggle room for the toes so they don’t get cramped. There was no extra material on the sides of the feet either which helped.

Around the ankles, I did expect some wrinkles, but as these are pulled right to the top and held up well, I didn’t get any at all!

 

The Bands: are slightly thinner than the Azur, as they are completely plain.

The clasps gripped on these so well and did not budge throughout the day. They hardly snagged as well which is great, and they fit around the top thigh so well. They do stretch out just slightly, but not by choice!

 

 

My Thoughts?

Once again I am blown away with how these have treated me so good today! I absolutely love this brand if you’re after proper authentic vintage stockings.
