Now this pair was bought a while ago, and I am excited to try these out. The first time I tried tights like this was my Hipstik Tights which didn’t fit me as great.
I find these pretty interesting as I know most people find silicone irritating on the legs, so I wonder what it will be like around the hips for the whole day?

I decided to create a different type of look; I normally wouldn’t really go for an outfit like this. I paired up my turtle neck bodysuit with my tweed skirt and added my peep toe white heels to finish the look. It was summery enough to work with my tights today!
Bodysuit: New Look
Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs, before I set them in place on the waist. I had plenty of stretch in these to make sure I get even coverage from the toes to the waistband.
These were also fine going over my anklets, and I had no issues.
The image below shows the difference in colour when the tights are on, so you can see there is a subtle colour difference.
On The Legs: I have to say these do look really good. They give a make-up finish, smoothing out any imperfections. I like how it does match my skin tone slightly, adding a little colour so it doesn’t look too off. I know this colour won’t be for everyone, but it’s a nude that s supposed to be for more light-medium skinned people.
The quality of these are really good; they don’t snag easily which I am super happy about. I tried to take as much care as possible as I was trekking around everywhere today – and I didn’t end up with any damages to the tights. These also have a nice amount of stretch to them to fit my legs well.
The fit is spot on for my leg length and width. I would always recommend going a size up if you’re unsure, however Gatta tends to get it right in terms of sizing. I had even coverage on the legs, so there were no places that I had to stretch them out more. I also wanted to show how long these are before and after I got them on – there is plenty of material in these to make sure they fit.
The feel of these are super soft, and really smooth to touch. These are a semi-matte finish, which gives that gorgeous look to the legs. These also don’t irritate the skin in any way.
The Toes & Ankle: as you can see below, these come with reinforced toes, which is a slightly darker denier. I had plenty of wiggle room in these for my toes to breathe, and there was no pressure added during the day either.
Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth, fitted finish with no wrinkles in sight.
The Waistband & Gusset: now the main part of the tights; the waistband. As you can see I did a mix of images below so you can see what the band looks like.
It had double silicone to hold these up in place, which are located at the top of the band. These do have a good amount of stretch to them, but not as much as you would normally get with a regular pair (obvs down to the silicone bands). These sit just over my belly button and they stay up very nicely.
I felt quite uncomfortable during the day with the silicone; I felt it pulling away a few times, and then it started to irritate my stomach especially when I was sitting down. I get that it’s supposed to move with you etc. however I felt this was giving me ,ore issues than I needed.
I do like the concept, however this is not a pair for everyone. I felt if the band was more fitted it would be fine to wear just like that (without the silicone to hold it).
This pair does have a cotton gusset, that sits flush against the skin during the day.
Not a bad pair to be honest, however I felt the silicone bands weren’t really needed. I like the quality, and the denier and shade was perfect for me. But the band did let it down for me; I felt there were more issues with the band than I would have liked, which makes me say that I didn’t like them as much. Minus that – I do like this pair and would recommend.
