Keeping up with my new Gatta collection, I wanted to switch it up and try out their 3D Keep Hot Tights and see what they’re all about. After all that colour, I wanted to get into a black pair!
I haven’t done thermals or alternatives for a while, and now is the time to be pulling them out!
Colour: Nero / Black
Size: 2 – Small
Denier: Around 60-80

I wanted to add a pop of colour, so I went with my oversized jumper and added peep toe sock boots to finish off the look. You can always wear boots or heels, but I wanted to switch it up and wear these instead.

The Packaging: the tights come in a slimline box, with the model wearing grey on the front (with a little window at the side of her to show you the black pair) and the back goes into more detail.
I have shown below what I had to do to get into the box.
Getting Them On: these were fine to get over anklets and up the legs. There is very minimal stretch needed if you just scrunch and roll them right up. Although putting my heels on after was a mission in itself!
On The Legs: well let me just say that they are great! They actually kept my legs pretty warm during the day – I sound surprised because I actually am. I didn’t think they would!
The quality of them are really good and I can see these lasting me throughout winter to be honest. You would need something super sharp to rip these as they are quite thick and super hard to snag.
The fit of them are true to size, and I would check the sizing guide with these. As they are quite thick and don’t have a lot of stretch to them, you may need to go one size up just to make sure you get full leg coverage and it isn’t stretched out too much over the legs.
The feel of them are really soft and like a cosy blanket on the legs. They do look a little rough when you see them close up and quite grainy-looking, but that isn’t the case at all.
Now honestly speaking, I didn’t think they would keep me warm during the day and I won’t lie and say they’re like a heater – but they were impressive and I mean that. They actually do retain heat in cooler temperatures and are super snug on the legs. I wouldn’t recommend sitting next to a heater for long wearing these as you will start to melt!
The Toes & Ankle: as you can see below, these are quite cotton-looking, but my feet have been so snug in these! I have had plenty of wiggle room in them and no pressure was added during the day either which made them super comfortable to be in.
Around the feet and ankles, they have been a proper smooth fitted finish with no wrinkles in sight.
The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see the waistband is quite slim, but it is a great band. It doesn’t loosen during the day no matter how much you stretch it out and it doesn’t fall down the waist either.
These hold up super well and I have had no issues being in them the whole day.
The gusset is a small cotton patch, which is roughly palm sized.
I gotta say these are fantastic and great for those who don’t like proper thick thermal tights. These did me just fine when I was out and about, and they’re lower in denier compared to some thermals that are 150D plus! I would certainly recommend these!
