This cute little pair was gifted by one of my amazing followers, which I thank as it’s been too long since I have had my legs in Gatta. This is also an outfit that I wore when I did my 140K Live Review if you thought you might have seen it somewhere…
I came across these on Amazon a while back and thought the design was super funky – almost like a mock over the knee sock type of look.
Size: 2 – Small
Materials: 89% Polyamide, 11% Elastane
I paired my tango orange skater skirt with a chunky cardigan as it was a little chilly, and added some peep toe sandals to finish off the look.
Skirt: River Island
Heels: Ivy London
The Packaging: if you haven’t seen Gatta packaging before, then this is what we are working with below. The front shows the model wearing the tights on the front and the back goes into a little more detail about the hosiery inside. It also shows the sizing guide, the composition and hosiery care too.
When you get in, you will find these wrapped around card (no card inserted into the legs here) ready to get on.
Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs. I took care going over my anklets (which is never normally an issue) and rolled them right up the legs. I made sure that the larger diamonds sat symmetrical on the legs before I set them in place
On The Legs: all I can say is they are looking super awesome right now! I am loving that design and how it works so well with the skirt I paired up with it too. It’s a lovely twist on polka dot tights and mock over the knee designs. I think it works superbly!
The denier is perfect being 20 to really make those diamonds shine on the legs. The quality of these are great as well; I had no snags or rips at all after spending a whole day in them as well, which I am super impressed with!
The fit of these are spot on and true to size, with enough stretch for my leg length. I would recommend going a size up if you’re unsure. The feel of these are super smooth and really nice on the legs. The diamonds aren’t that raised on the tights, so you shouldn’t be left with markings. I sure wasn’t after I took mine off at the end of the day.
The Toes & Ankle: around the toes, these are invisibly reinforced (I am hoping) and they fit so well. They don’t add any pressure around the toes or the feet, and there is plenty of room for them to wiggle as well.
Around the ankle, it’s a lovely fitted finish without any wrinkles in sight.
The Waistband: the band always tends to be the same to be honest. As you can see below, this is what you would be working with. It’s a nice fitted band with reinforcement underneath it all. It sits flush against the waist and doesn’t roll down on itself during the day either – regardless if you’re sitting or moving all day long.
These do have a small gusset to them which are sewn in.
I gotta say these are such a great pair if you’re after something classy yet stylish, and they can be worn with skirts, dresses and shorts without looking vulgar in any way. I loved being in mine and would certainly recommend them!
