Gatta Colette Cat 01 Tights

I gotta ask a question… Why is melange grey so hard to pair?! I have no idea why but I have better luck with grey sheer and semi-opaques rather than block tights!

My Outfit

So back into monochrome we go, as I had so much trouble trying to find an outfit to wear with these. I got rid of so much lately (clothing wise) and revamping my wardrobe that I could just pair a white tank top and black ribbed skirt with these.

I wore my black low heel shoes with these, but left them at work as they’re my back-up pair in case!

The Packaging: so this is from a few years back, which mean they’re packaging is different to what you would see in their current line. It shows the model pairing a grey jumper and boots with this (nope I didn’t wanna replicate this) and then goes into small detail at the back:

“Ladies fancy tights with the addition of elastane yarn”

On The Legs: so getting these up the legs is easy peasy! Just scrunch and roll up the best you can, and if you decide to pull up half way, that’s cool too (as I did in the end!)

On the legs, they are pretty opaque, but it also depends on how much it stretches on the legs; mine is always the thighs and this is where I saw they became a little sheerer compared to the bottom leg.

As you can see with the design, it’s pretty dainty like – similar to polka dot tights but with small cats instead. I love the fact it’s not a heavy design and made quite simple; it makes it easier to pair with outfits (I say this yet I struggle bigtime!)

The fit and feel of them are great on the legs; plenty of stretch in them and are true to size. If you wanted a little extra room for comfort, then go the next size up 🙂

The quality of them are really good; nice and thick-ish and hard to snag or catch! They have a lovely smooth finish on them which does help with bodycons!

The toes (I forgot to take images of) are quite dense which means you don’t really see the nails pop through unless you’re wearing a bold colour underneath. There was plenty of room for them to move about and breathe, with no pressure added.

The Waistband: is a proper nice fitting one. I love the way this sat against the waist on me; a lovely flush finish. It has plenty of elasticity in it and it didn’t feel tight or loose on me throughout the day. A lovely comfort fit.

My Thoughts?

I think these are a proper cute pair if you’re after something for winter. I would recommend these based on how snug and good quality they are. I still will struggle with the colour of them being so bold grey but either way I still do like them 🙂
