Gatta Arti 01 Tights

Gatta is here once again, after some time away from the blog. I thought this pair was super quirky when I first set eyes on it, and to really make it the statement piece it deserves to be, I went with a simple outfit.

Today we were around Chiswick, and saw these huge grounds with such nice logs. I thought it would be great to use this as my background!

My Outfit

Keeping it very monochrome with my outfit to make my tights stand out, I wore a baggy t-shirt tucked into my leather shorts and added some pumps to finish off the casual look. I didn’t manage to finish off my Chai Latte before this shoot took place, so here it is too!

Getting Them On: as these are quite thin, I did my scrunch and roll carefully up the legs. I made sure my anklets were in place so they wouldn’t get caught in my tights. These were a quick and easy roll up the legs.

On The Legs: oh this design is just awesome. I can see this pair working with almost any outfit you put with it! I went quite chic edgy with mine, but with a dress or skirt I know this would still look fabulous. I love how they aren’t polka dots but random little shapes that make this super different, and the fact they haven’t kept is a black only. I like the pop of yellow combined with it!

The quality is always good with Gatta; I like how they are affordable and the quality is never really compromised. These can snag easily if you don’t take care of them, however these were a great pair for me today, especially against a rough log! I had to take so much care not to sit or brush past this so my tights don’t rip!

The fit of these are true to size, and I had plenty of stretch in these for my legs. I didn’t have to tug them up or anything, and they hug the legs really well so there is no gapping. I would recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing, as their sizing doesn’t leave much room if you’re a little larger.

The feel of them are smooth on the base, however the pattern is raised so you may find it feels bumpy when you run your hands across it. They were soft against the skin and no irritation is caused either.

I also wanted to mention how they can slightly change in colour depending on the lighting too; something to note as I didn’t see the difference until I saw the images inserted below.

The Toes & Ankle: these do not have reinforced toes to them, which is a shame but then again you have the awesome print working right to the toe seam. Once again, another pair you can wear with open toe sandals and shoes if you wish.

I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and as you can see it’s a lovely fitted finish around the feet and ankles.

The Waistband & Gusset: no images are shown, however I will mention it sits around the waist and does not fall down. It also doesn’t roll over itself so you get a flush finish around the stomach. You also have this design working right up to the waistband, so here come short clothing!!

The band is comfortable and doesn’t restrict you either; that’s another reason why I love Gatta.

The gusset also sits flush against the skin, and is breathable so you can choose to go commando if you wish.

My Thoughts?

I love this pair and how funky they are! The quality is spot on, the design is just great and I love the fit. I would recommend these for all year round – a perfect pair to create various looks with!
