NETTTTTSSSSS! I have that awesome Friday feeling again being in my nets. Now I wanted to do a casual simple outfit with these this time rather than dressing them to work. I thought not many do shorts and nets – I see why sometimes – but if you dress it right, there won’t be an issue.
The main thing with nets is you either dress it up or keep it playful and casual 🙂
Size: 1-2 / X-Small-Small
Materials: 85% Polyamide, 15% Elastane
From The Website: Women`s tights, type fishnet, made of yarn type braided LYCRA.
The Packaging: it looks quite basic I feel; with a slight vintage look to it as well. The model wears the hosiery on the front, with the back going into slight detail about the hosiery along with composition, sizing guide and care instructions.
When you get in, you will find these flat folded and wrapped around card. These don’t have any foot or leg shaping to them, which does suck!
On The Legs: once I did my scrunch and roll up the legs, I got these on with such ease. They were fine going over anklets too, and didn’t catch once.
As these are a micro-net, they give the legs a lovely matted look, which I really like. It’s sheer enough with that slight black tint to them, which is ok to wear with shorts compared to the larger nets. I know I paired shorts and heels (which can be very risky) but as these are a very basic pair which don’t have such a high sex appeal compared to larger nets, you’re all good to do this 🙂
The denier is unknown, but nice and has some good thickness to it, so it’s not flimsy. There is also plenty on stretch in these as well, so it hugs the legs real nice and doesn’t lose it throughout the day either when it has been stretched a lot (I put them to the test and kept on tugging them to see).
The fit of them are bang on, and to be honest these could also fit a medium! The feel of them are slightly rough and have a grainy feel, but it’s nothing that would irritate the legs during the day which is the main thing. I felt these were super comfortable to wear for the whole day.
The Toes & Ankle: well I am not too sure if there is any type of reinforcement to these, seeing as it’s not clearly stated anywhere.
There is plenty of wiggle room for the toes to move about in, no extra material on the sides of the toes, a lovely fit around the feet and overall they look amazing. These would also be perfect to wear with peep or open toe shoes or sandals as well 🙂
Around the ankles, they are a fitted finish with no signs of wrinkles.
The Waistband & Gusset: a very slim-line waistband to these, which I am so happy that they held up all day and no sign of it rolling over itself. They were super comfortable to be in; no tightness or becoming loose throughout the day and they did their job!
The gusset is that large round patch, which is great for those who go commando in their hosiery.
Another great pair of nets to invest in if you prefer micronets than fishnets. I thought the quality was great and a real nice pair to be in if you’re after something that will last you.
