Gabriella Gala Patterned Hold-ups

Day 8 of my holdups of the day brings a stylish yet understated pair from Gabriella – the Gala Patterned Hold‑ups – another wishlist pick straight from Amazon.

Gabriella is a Polish hosiery brand that’s grown into one of Europe’s go‑to names for affordable, quality legwear. Known for its blend of elegant design and everyday practicality, Gabriella offers everything from sheer tights to patterned hold‑ups that feel both classic and wearable.

These are the kind of holdups that sneak elegance into any outfit, whether you’re keeping things simple with a slip dress, or adding a touch of texture under tailored trousers, proving that great hosiery doesn’t always have to shout to make an impact.

Funnily enough, I have reviewed this pair a few years ago when I was testing a new style of blogging;

The Packaging

Getting Them On: hosiery gloves on and we are rolling! A little scrunch and roll up, and they were on the legs in a breeze. I didn’t have any issues this morning getting these on, especially over my anklets.

On The Legs: let me start off with the colour. Now before these worked so well on my skin tone, but this time, I feel that it’s a slightly (and I mean ever so slightly) a lighter shade. I notice it way more close up than from afar. It gives a slightly pasty, ashy look than a natural skin tone. It’s no biggie as I would wear these with a longer dress next time, but something worth noting.

The quality of these are lovely; they had plenty of stretch to them so I could sit them higher up the leg and they don’t snag easy either. I took care whilst being in mine, which always makes then last longer than a few wears.

The fit was true to size; they fit me really well and they hug the leg as they are supposed to too.
If you are in-between sizes, I would advise going a size up just you have a little extra material to play with.

The feel of these are really silky soft on the legs, and lovely to touch. They are super comfortable to be in – I had no issues whatsoever with them.

The Toes & Ankle: I believe these come with reinforced toes – I’m not too sure actually, I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and no pressure was added during my wear either.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth finish with a no wrinkling around the ankles.

The Bands: so last time instead of going sporty, I went girly. And I am doing the same again with this pair, because I love the triple band and how it matches up with my outfit.

I do really like the design, and it works so well with that thick satin-feel band. These hold up really well on the legs, and the silicone bands stay put until you prise them away from the skin.

It has one thick silicone bad sitting at the top, which basically is all you need. I didn’t feel like needed more for them to stay put; I felt the one was enough.

My Thoughts?

These were a great pair when I reviewed them last, and they have not changed at all. I still love them! They are a great pair in terms of quality, feel and fit. Plus that triple band at the top just adds to it all!
