Let’s tone the legs down with a semi-statement pair today. I was toying between a heavy print and these for a while with this outfit, but I went with the more subtle pair so I could add in some textures and play around with my outfit.
I was heading into town today so I needed something that wasn’t too casual and not over-smart like I was going into work, so I went with the following…
Materials: 85% polyamide, 15% elastane
Price: £4.72 / Sale £4.25
Now let’s get slightly dressy to go shopping in town. I couldn’t decide if I do pumps or heels, and then opted for my boots in the end to keep it smart casual. I wore my white t-shirt paired with my lace trim skirt, subtle jeans belt and added a fedora hat for some serious statement.

The Packaging: I’m not gonna say much as a lot of the Gabriella packaging is almost identical, so I shall show you in pictures instead once I got inside.
Getting Them On: I took my time getting these on the feet and over my anklets, as they are pretty delicate. They were fine as long as you take care rolling them on (maybe use gloves if you’re not too confident)
On The Legs: well all I can say is they are such a cute pair, which can make anything you wear look good. As these are little hearts instead of polka dots, it adds a nice little twist to the concept which can be worn with any outfit you choose. I could have easily gone for plain or a statement pair, but I went with these so I could add lace texture to my outfit.
The quality is alright to begin with, but I did manage to snag these quite a fair bit today as I was out and about.
So note to self: really take care with shopping bags and hosiery!
The fit of these were true to size and there was enough stretch for my legs to be hugged rather than strangled. The feel of them are silky soft, but that can also snag and rip if you’re not careful! The denier is only 20, but it feels like they are a 10 on the legs!
The Toes & Ankle: as you can see I had no issues around the toes and ankle area.I do apologise for not showing my nails in the pic; they were not done! These had plenty of room around the toes for the to wiggle and breathe.
Around the feet and ankles, it was a lovely smooth fitted finish.
The Waistband & Gusset: now I need to apologise as I forgot to take my waistband and gusset image for the blog. I was rushing to get changed and completely forgot once I was out the door!
The waistband on these I have to say were great. They did their job well and held these up the whole day without an issues. They sit around my waist (belly button) and don’t really budge to be honest. They have a nice amount of elasticity in them as well so you don’t feel like they’re about to squeeze you during the day!
The gusset is a small palm-sized patch of cotton which was nicely sewn into the middle, letting you breathe.
I gotta say for the price you pay, these are half decent. Apart from the issue with the snagging, these have been fab on the legs and a good pair to have in the wardrobe for a few wears (as long as you look after them well)
