There’s a timeless magic to stockings that carry a hint of vintage allure – and the Gabriella Cruze Black Stockings with Red Seam Line are doing just that with a modern twist. Sleek and sophisticated in classic black, the bold red seam running up the back adds just the right splash of drama: a subtle nod to retro glamour that instantly lifts an outfit from everyday to attention-grabbing. Whether you’re pairing them with tailored heels for an evening out or letting them peek out from under smart boots, these stockings are a statement piece in the best possible way.
What makes a pair like this so exciting is how they walk the line between classic elegance and playful boldness. The contrast of the red seam against rich black fabric brings a subtle confidence to every step, like hosiery with its own little attitude. And if you’re anything like me, pieces that transform a simple look into something memorable are the ones that get worn again and again.

I didn’t fancy doing a flowy dress with this pair today, so I went with my bodysuit paired with one of my new suede wrap skirts instead. I added simple suede heels to finish the look.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: after a scrunch and roll, these were ready to be rolled on. I made sure to keep away from the anklets before putting them closer to my skin to do the seams. I took my time so I am able to get them as straight as possible, before clasping them in place.

On The Legs: okay we are loving these! I love the black with red seam contrast, which makes these not only sexy, but fun! The backseam is a super statement piece here, especially as it was stitched in after, so it pops out and creates this dense line.
The quality has been average on this pair; I managed to somehow snag them on my foot and a few times on the back of my legs too. Not impressed…
The fit of these are spot on; I had enough stretch in these for me to sit them as high or low as I like, without it being tugged at too hard. These also sat flush on the skin, with no wrinkling or gapping anywhere either.
The feel of these could we so much better. These are more of a matte finish, and when they’re made cheap – you can really tell. These felt grainy and rough on the legs, to the point I had to itch now and again – not good! The quality and the feel could have been so much better, but it is what it is.

The Toes & Ankle: this is where it gets exciting! So the toes are not reinforced, which is a shame really. I will also add here that the sole panel part was made bent so i had to really twist them a bit when getting them on.
Under the toes, the sole panel starts, which leads to a into a heel reinforcement curve before going into a seam. I love when people make seams like this; it adds so much to the pair with minimal effort really. The backs of the heels were hidden in my heels, but I didn’t mind that to be honest.
Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room, and no pressure was added during my wear. Around the feet and ankles, these were kept smooth and wrinkle free.

The Bands: so these bands are thicker and made well, so I could clasp on with ease. I prefer bands like these on cheaper pairs, as it gives me security that it isn’t going to rip or damage easily.
As you can see from the images below, the backseam ends just before the band comes into play. Not too sure why they can’t take it right to the band, but never mind.
The band itself has a little stretch in them, but it’s on where once you stretch it out, it’ll stay like that.

My Thoughts?
Overall I think these are nice for an occasion, but it’s not something I would recommend for lasting wears. I felt they really let me down on the first wear with the snagging and how they felt on the legs during the day.
