Okay so I have heard a lot about Frola, and I gave in! I added a few pairs to my Wishlist, and voila! I have been gifted a pair, and this time I am trying it out in brown. I wanted to test them out in a colour I wouldn’t usually wear!
This pair was gifted off my Amazon Wishlist.
Materials: 84% Polyamide, 14% Elastane, 2% Cotton
Website: Amazon – Frola Women’s 80 Denier Semi Opaque Solid Color Footed Pantyhose Tights
Bring out the tunics! I haven’t worn this one in so long, and I fancied pairing it up with browns to give it that statement contrast. I added simple faux leather court shoes to finish the look, and to help elongate the legs too!
From The Website: These tights come in a variety of fashion colors; and are great sellers. These tights can be used in performances or any occasion. Made using 3D Spandex (where spandex is knitted in to every row, rather than the usual every other row), to give a better fit which will stretch evenly in all directions as you move. 3D elastane also makes the tights more durable and gives a beautifully soft, suede like finish. They have a slight sheen which will make legs look polished and well dressed and, for the price, they offer an exceptionally soft feel coupled with a great fit. We think these opaque tights are super quality and value for money and are great for format events, schools, dance or daily wear.

Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll to get these on this morning, and they were such a dream glide up the legs. I didn’t have to worry about my anklets, as they just glided right past. I’m liking these already!
On The Legs: so this colour is something else! I didn’t think I would like it as much as I do! I love that thick opaque look to them, which simply looks classy. Another thing I really like about this pair is they don’t become sheerer when they are stretched out a lot on the legs; they still have that opaqueness to them, so you know these have been made well.
These also have a sheen to them, which I really like. They aren’t super shiny, but you can tell there is a cute glistening to them!
The quality is really nice; I really loved that these don’t damage easily and I kept them pristine as possible.
The fit was spot on! I loved that I had enough stretch for great leg coverage, and there is no gapping to be found. I am very impressed with these so far. As you can see the image where I stretched them out, these are made good!!
The feel of them are really soft, and so comfortable to be in. They have a microfiber feel to them, but I don’t mind that at all. I felt supported and comforted all day, with no issues whatsoever.
The Toes & Ankle: these come with non-reinforced toes, which is a shame but I am hoping that the thicker denier will act like some reinforcement if needed. I did keep my nails sort just in case when testing this pair out.
Around the toes, I had plenty of wiggle room, and no pressure was added during my wear. Around the feet and ankles, I had a lovely smooth, fitted finish.
The Waistband & Gusset: now this is a great band. It sits around my belly button, and stays like this all day long. I had plenty of stretch in them so it didn’t squeeze me tightly under my tunic. It’s a lovely soft band, which holds the tights up well.
I absolutely love these! They are a great pair, and such a fantastic vibrant brown which you don’t see nowadays! I would happily recommend these!
