Frola has been on my radar for some time now, and I finally get the chance to review these babies!

They were kindly gifted from my Wishlist a while back, in a slightly larger size, so we will see how this goes.

I like a blue and grey combo, especially when you have this great playsuit to work with. I added my grey slingbacks to finish the look as I didn’t have my blue heels with me this time.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: so I have to say I have a lot of material to work with as this is a M-L size that was gifted. I didn’t have to pull them up as much as it would only bunch up around the top.

These were fine going over my anklets too, which I am happy about.

On The Legs: Let me start off with the colour; I do like the grey. It gives a silvery effect on the legs, which I think works so well with today’s outfit. I am getting a little more into grey, so I am happy that these are part of that collection. So it states it’s around 15-20 denier, but as it’s a bigger size, it does feel and look thicker than that.

The shine on these are amazing; during the day in natural light you can tell these pack a shine. With flash on, you ain’t messing around. I should have taken an image at night, so you can see what they look like in darker light.

The quality of these are nice; they don’t snag easy which is a good sign. The only issue I had were lines that I couldn’t seem to do anything about; I’ve marked them in black, but these run up and down the legs. They aren’t too noticeable until you look up close, but they are a little annoying as it can see like a run.

The fit of these are too large for me unfortunately; there was plenty of wrinkling around the knees, and started to form around the ankles too. It’s a shame as I think a smaller size would have been perfect for even leg coverage, and also it would look a little sheerer too.

The feel of them are what you expect; they are soft, they are smooth and they are super silky to touch – both inside and out. These don’t irritate the legs in any way, which is a good sign!

The Toes & Ankle: I believe there are no reinforced toes here, which I was really hoping for as the nails are getting a little long, but I’m not ready to cut them down just yet.

I had a LOT of stretch around the toes, which meant no pressure was added during my wear either. I really did like how they sat.

Around the feet and ankles, it is a smooth finish to begin with, but by the end of the day there was a little wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: this comes with a cotton-lie waistband, that is a thicker materials. I had enough stretch in this for sure, and I like that there was enough elasticity so it did end up hugging my waist rather than feeling baggy on me.

As all seamless go, there is no cotton gusset to these; just a smooth nylon finish.

My Thoughts?

I did really like this pair, however I would like to try it again in a smaller size and a different colour too. I love the shine they have, I love the feel, I love how amazing they look on and I would definitely recommend.
