Now this is gonna be interesting. I have done crotchless before, however they always have been a sheer pair. So having a thicker denier pair is gonna be super awesome to try out!

I wanted to create a fun outfit today with some plain opaques, so I opted for my corset dress and added some floral boots to add a touch of statement-ness to the outfit. I kept it pretty simple, but it worked very well!

The Review
From The Website: Ouvert is a gorgeous pair of crotchless tights from Fiore that is as elegant as it is feminine and timeless. These are Fiore’s number one item of leg wear for those who want something soft, well made, comfy and opaque with a crotchless design. These tights are one of the best of their category and one of the most affordable too, making them the best option if you need something around 80 denier and with an open crotch design.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: they were super easy to slip into. I did my scrunch and roll up the legs and set them in place. They were ok going over anklets as long as you take care.
On The Legs: can we just appreciate that an 80 denier pair has some shine to them! I expected them to be fully matte, so this was a nice surprise. It isn’t a great deal of shine, but enough to not make them look matte.
I will also applaud how thick, soft and fully black they are. These are not sheer in the slightest way, and you get a lovely solid black colour all over the legs. That thickness is just enough to keep the legs warm without looking too chunky. The only time I saw it becoming slightly lighter is when we had the flash on to capture the shine.
The quality of these are amazing; they have a nice amount of stretch in them, they don’t snag easily and these would be pretty hard to rip if I am honest.
The fit of them are just fantastic; they hug the legs very well and there is no gapping either. I love how amazing they look!
The feel of them are lovely and soft; they aren’t rough in any way even if you stretch them out with your hands. These also don’t irritate the legs either. I am so happy with this pair!
The Toes & Ankle: as you can see around the ankles, there is no wrinkling. I did find it was the bare minimum when my feet were flat in my boots but otherwise you hardly get any.
The toes will be reinforced with the thick denier, so you don’t need to worry too much if you have slightly long nails. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move and breathe too.
The Waistband & Gusset: for obvious reasons I couldn’t show you this on me, but the waistband is a great one. It is thick enough to sit on the waist well and it does not shimmy down whist you’re in them. They also don’t roll over itself either which is an added bonus.
The gusset is non-existent here. The crotchless part is a small hole reinforced with stitching so it doesn’t widen. It only exposes a small amount of the front and back, which is great if you’re not a fan of wider open crotchless tights. I did stretch it out so it does look bigger than what it is.
My Thoughts?
For an 80 denier crotchless pair, I am loving them. That thickness and dense colour is just spot on and that shine just topped it off for me. I wouldn’t wear these all the time as it would be pretty cold down below, but I would happily recommend them!
