The Review
From The Website: Madame is a fantastic new take of the classic backseam, one of the single most stylish elements of the leg wear world. Here, the backseam is not just a solid and eye catching line down the back of the stockings. It is also a border around the tops, meeting up with the suspender belt straps for a really head turning look. It is incredible and Madame really makes the most of what it has, a simple black line, to create something more than the sum of its parts.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll on the legs, taking care going over my anklets. I completely forgot that I had seams at the back, so I had to re-do them. They were fine going up the legs, as I had plenty of material to roll them gently and set them in place on my top thigh.

On The Legs: the coour is what I wanna start off talking about; I am not a fan. I don’t get why some brands do natural instead of a slight tan colour. I mean you can’t go wrong compared to going lighter so not many people can wear it. I felt it was too light for my skin tone, as it made my legs too pasty and ill-looking.
Now what makes me stop moaning about them? When the sun comes out – the legs transform and don’t look so bad after. They have a shine to them, which does slightly change the colour, but not greatly. It does make it a little more bearable to be in.
The quality of these are great. They didn’t snag or rip whilst I was prancing around in them all day, which I was super grateful for. They have a nice amount of stretch to them so you get good coverage all over the legs without tugging them.
The fit of these are true to size and as I went one size up, these fit really well. I could sit them a lot higher on the thighs, which I was super happy about. I would recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing to ensure you get a size that is right for you.
The feel of them are soft and smooth on the legs, both inside and out. This means that you won’t get any irritation from them!

The Toes & Ankle: can we just appreciate the photographer here please?! How amazing did these heel shots come out? The sun came out at the perfect time to really make these pop. As you can see, we have the backseam starting from the reinforcement and working its way up to the band. They are fine to walk on; they are not the type of seam to dig into your soles or heels.
My toes had plenty of wiggle room, and they did not feel cramped in any way either. I do like the fact these come with reinforced toes, which are pretty much invisible so you can wear open toe shoes or sandals with these if you wish.
Around the feet and ankles, it is a smooth fitted finish, with no wrinkles in sight.

The Bands: now this is what made me want to buy this pair – the band. I love that thin, bold band which sits at the top. It’s something completely different, very chic an it allows you to wear the stockings a little higher. It is reinforced so you can clasp onto them without worrying if they will rip.
I have to say I love this look, especially when you see it from the back, with that lovely backseam. It’s a great pair to dress up or down, and wear with almost anything! I liked how these also stretched out to fit my thighs without squeezing them!

My Thoughts?
A great pair I have to say, but it is a shame that it’s a lighter colour. I liked the way they look, that shine is lovely on them and the band is just stunning. I would still recommend the as the colour is something I personally I don’t like.
