How can I create a loud outfit with minimal effort? Just pair some basics with a statement pair and job done! That is one thing I love doing, especially when I am running errands or just wanting a chill day. As much as I love dressing smart, I do love to really tone it down from time to time.
Size: 2 – Small
Materials: 80% Polyamide, 18% Elastane, 2% Polypropylene
I’m spending my day chilling, so let’s throw on an outfit that looks like I am too! I wore my oversized t-shirt (this one is from Ibiza that I hardly wear) paired with my Vans. It was simple but effective enough
T-Shirt: Hi Ibiza Club
The Packaging: is pretty simple I have to say. There’s not much I can really say here; the model wears the hosiery on the front so you can see the full pattern. The back does into very little detail about the pair.
When you get in, you will find these flat folded and wrapped around plain card to hold its shape.
Getting Them On: well I will tell you in more detail below how little time it took me to get these on compared to my previous pair (Fiore Lady Rock Stripped Fishnet Tights). I took my time over the anklets just in case they somehow manage to catch on. These were such a smooth glide up the legs. I did have to pinch and push them down a little once I got them on as there was a fair bit of material on the legs to play with, so I evened it out as best as I could.
On The Legs: can I just praise how I actually had some elasticity in these to be able to get them up the legs with ease!? My last pair I did, I struggled so bad, it took me ages to get them up the legs, but this time I had some stretch in them so it was super easy to roll up and it took me 5 minutes to get the pair on!
The quality of these are really good, and the fact that they are a higher and thicker denier really does help with the reinforcement on the legs. This means that they will be harder to rip unless you do catch something super sharp. I had no problems being in these all day running errands and knocking my legs into everything as well!
The fit of them are true to size, with a nice amount of stretch in them so you do get a good hugging fit once they’re on. As I mentioned before, I had to end up pushing these down slightly as I ended up gathering some around the tushy area, which says that you don’t need to tug them up as much thinking you won’t have enough net to stretch across your legs. This also does depend on your leg length as well let me just add.
The feel of them are slightly rough, but that’s understandable due to the material used. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t irritate your legs or feel that rough that you can’t bear it, but it isn’t as smooth as it might look.
The design is another little twist on nets, if you’re not a fan of the standard fishnet. I do love experimenting with different styles; as much as I love fishnets, they can be a little boring from time to time, so a nice change like this really can make you think about your outfit and footwear you pair with it. This design works from the reinforce toe right to the waistband, so anything short can be worn without any worry of the boxer brief peeking.
The Toes & Ankle: as I mentioned above, the toes have a good amount of reinforcement to them. This cap covers the front and back, so you don’t have to worry about long or sharp nails too much in these.
There is plenty of wiggle room, and the bonus is that the toe cap is fitted so you don’t get any extra material on the sides either. That really does bug me when it happens!
Around the ankles, it’s nicely fitted with no signs of wrinkles.
The Waistband: so you get a bit of a double whammy here; it’s a sheer reinforcement then works into the thicker band with the elasticity in them. I thought that was a pretty neat idea considering nets can be pretty tricky to get on and take off, without the band being a nuisance.
I have to say the band is so nice and snug on the waist, and it holds up really well too. I had no issues with the elasticity in these, as not once did they start to loosen.
In terms of height, these sit around the belly button on me, which I quite like as it’s comfortable than it sitting higher up where it can roll down on itself.
I really do love these, and they are so much better than my rock star pair I reviewed before for sure. They are a decent quality, have a nice bit of stretch to them and they look amazing on as well.
