I am on my travels, and this time I was shooting in the rain. We are working with a miserable day, however I won’t let that stop me getting a review done for you all.
I was around Spitalfields and Chelsea hitting up a lot of food places, and we came across this awesome wall art, and we had to get some shots with it to really make the blog pop!

The Review
From The Website: Impressa is one of the most hypnotic and interesting patterns from Fiore this year. It is a chevron pattern, but arranged like a hounds tooth, in a neat and precise grid. It is a simple adjustment to some old favourites, but it is an incredible result that really does grab your attention and is Fiore’s most hypnotic fashion tights design yet

Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll up the legs, taking care of my anklets as I worked them up the legs.
I took my time as I really despise it when a pattern like this goes wonky, so I made sure it was as straight as possible.
On The Legs: I thought these looked super awesome with a chic casual outfit. I wasn’t too sure about doing all black at first, but it grew on me and my tights added that much needed statement to finish off the outfit. A plain pair would have worked too – but I wasn’t feeling it.
The quality of these have been great; I didn’t manage to snag them, even though I was all over the place which is a bonus! They also didn’t move on the legs, so it stayed as straight as possible throughout the day. I don’t like it when tights move on the legs and the patterns gets distorted – it looks pretty cheap!
The fit of these were true to size, and there wasn’t much stretch for this to fit a size medium. I would highly recommend checking the sizing guide before purchasing just to make sure you get a pair that fits. There would be no harm in going a size up if you’re unsure.
The feel of these were not bad; I didn’t feel they were super smooth as much as I would have liked them to be, but they were decent enough. They aren’t rough in any way, so they won’t irritate the legs but it didn’t have a smooth touch if you get me.
The Toes & Ankle: now this image always makes me giggle. We did a sneaky shot under the table, and flash had to be on so it wouldn’t come out looking totally dark. I had to try and slip off my pumps without it looking too obvious.
As you can see below, these come with invisible reinforced toes. The pattern starts from under the reinforced strip – that is the way you can tell. As my nails were short and smooth, I didn’t have any issues with them ripping.
I also had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to move, and it was a lovely fitted finish around the feet and ankles.
I would say you can wear this pair with open toe sandals or shoes if you like, however I wouldn’t as it’s a little annoying that you have sheer going into a pattern.
The Waistband & Gusset: no images of this as you can tell, however the band on these were great. They were great in holding them up all day for me to travel in ease, and there were no signs of them rolling over itself or slipping down.
The pattern works right up to the waistband, so you have the freedom to wear anything short with these without worrying about the boxer brief part showing.
The band is a nice thickness, which doesn’t dig into your waist and sits flush against the skin. The same can be said about the gusset; it’s cotton and it sits well against the skin too.
My Thoughts?
I gotta say I do love this pair. I gotta thing for patterns like this; it’s so versatile that you can dress them up or down like I have done. The quality is pretty decent too, and I would recommend them if you’re into this design!
