Bring on these funky styles – I have missed them dearly! Now I have to admit, when I saw this pair, I fell in love with that print, however I did wonder for ages how I was going to style these out. It took me around 13 different shoe changes this morning, to them opt for the ones below!

Anyways so this is another pair which She-Store stock, which I am so glad about as they are incredibly affordable!

My Outfit

I went simple and wore my red bodycon dress paired with my black open toe booties. I kept my hair down and added massive hoops to keep it quite casual.

The Review

From The Website: Overknee design tights. Very richly ornamented tights with a beautiful design and refined overknee look. The all-over pattern in lace look gives this tights in a fine net mesh sensual sensual appeal. It is dull, semitransparent and with gusset at size. 3 and 4. With invisible reinforcement in the toe and corset part. Due to the extremely high proportion of elastane, it is particularly elastic and has a flat seam.

Care instructions: Hand wash only at max. 40 °

 

The Packaging: as you can see below, it’s quite bring instead of their pink background to make the hosiery stand out. You have the model from far and close up, so you get to see the design in multiple ways.

The back only goes into the main detail about hosiery care, the sizing guide and a little bit about the hosiery itself.

When you get in, you will find these flat folded and basically ready to get on 🙂

 

Getting Them On: getting these on was super easy and quick to do without any hassle whatsoever. I thought I would have to spend so much time lining up the patterns and making sure it looks good before stepping out, but I have to say there was none of that whatsoever.

All I had to do was slip them on, taking care over my anklets and basically it just sat in place. I didn’t have to tug up or pull down any parts to make sure they line up equally either, which saved me a lot of time!

 

On The Legs: the quality of these are just incredible; they are so elasticated on the legs, it’s unreal. I say this in a good way as they have plenty of stretch (but for you size though, so I can’t say a medium will be able to fit into these that well) on the legs. They hardly snagged either which worked well for me, as I was rushing around all day!

The fit of them are perfect for my legs; I didn’t feel these were too small in any way or too loose. The feel of them are super soft too. You may feel some grainy bits along the patterned area, but nothing that could easily catch and snag. Overall, these are certainly a win in my eyes!

The design is just mind-blowing. It’s a mix of block and pattern, but in the weirdest (yet cool) way! I think that’s what made it so hard to style as it was a pattern toe to mid-thigh or vice versa; I had the semi-opaqueness from toe to ankle and then mid-thigh to waist. It’s so unusual but one that you can have fun being in!

Now the only boo point to make is that these can easily make you look shorter than you are; I certainly felt like that, so I knew I couldn’t wear flats or small heels with these. I felt these didn’t work with my height, so I would recommend these to those who are taller as you would be able to pull them off so well rather than looking like a stump like me!

 

The Toes & Ankle: there is plenty of wiggle room around the toes, and no pressure added whatsoever during the day here either. I was totally comfortable in these. I did find it weird looking down at my foot and seeing semi-opaque rather than a pattern but hey hehe!

Around the ankles, these were a lovely fitted finish.

 

The Waistband: so I have to say these are elasticated well. I felt these really hugged my waist well throughout the day, but they aren’t so great when you have had a lot to eat and you have this applied pressure put onto your stomach. So that did cause me a little hassle.

However, the bonus point to these is that they don’t roll over themselves so they stay nice and flush against you all day.

 

 

My Thoughts?

I gotta say I did have fun being in these today; a different pair for sure but it’s styles like these that transform your outfit from something simple into a statement piece.
