Fiore Bodycare Empress Tights

I am keen to try out the Fiore Bodycare range – I do have another pair sitting to one side waiting to be reviewed, and I am hoping this pair will give me some insight on what to expect.

This pair was gifted from abroad, and luckily I managed to find this pair online, with all the info below.

My Outfit

Out for dinner tonight, and I wanted something that could take me from work to dinner vibes instantly. I added long black cardigan during the day, and then switched to a blazer for the evening. I wore my satin cami top tucked into my velvet diamante skirt. I added some simple suede peep toe heels to finish the look.

The Packaging

Getting Them On: scrunching the legs were fine, however I will say the seam isn’t straight on the nylons. I had to try and scrunch in a way where I keep the seam as straight as possible to make it easy to roll them on. I did my best to roll them on slowly to make sure my seams is in line and then set the band in place. I did have to pinch and pull a tad as I did see the seam bend in a few places. This did take me some time, but once it was set they didn’t move.

Around the anklets was fine; I was going slowly so it wouldn’t have caused any damage to the tights.

On The Legs: I have to talk about that denier, and how great it looks on the legs with those seams. It has such a rich, luxury look to them from far. I did have a mix of the sun out and hidden behind clouds – it left me with mixed images which I like. These have a matt finish, which is why they look the way they do.
The seams start from the toe seam and work its way up to the push-up part.

The quality of this pair is lovely. They are really nice, however they do snag quite easily. I managed to get some right at the end of my shoot when I stopped my images, which I was super bummed out about. Apart from that, they lasted all day and evening without any further issues.

The fit was perfect. I feel if I went a size smaller, I would have had to really tug these up the legs to get them to sit correctly; medium gave me enough stretch so I could easily roll them up with ease. There was no gapping to be found either, which is always great.

The feel of them were super smooth, and pretty soft on the legs. The bodycare part is a little more rough to touch – only because it’s trying to do its job. I did like these on the legs, and there was no issues regarding irritation.

The Toes & Ankle: now looking up close this is how it looked like on the feet. I an’t say it looked like this on the legs, but they sure did around the feet. Luckily no-one was paying attention up close to see this!

These come with reinforced toes to them, which you can slightly see in the images below. I did have enough wiggle room to begin with, however I did feel a little pressure added onto the toes later on in the day – nothing a pinch can’t sort.

Around the feet and ankles, it was a smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: I tried to get images that weren’t too revealing so you can see what it looks like on. These start from the top thigh, acting like shorts and work its way up right to the waistband. They have a section at the front that is supposed to have a ‘smoothing’ effect – I can’t say it really did anything for me there. The back section is supposed to be ‘push-up’ lifting the tushy slightly. Once again, I didn’t feel it did much for me to be honest. I suppose if you have a larger tushy, it might work better for you.

The waistband itself is pretty good; they hold up well and stay in place. I didn’t have any issues with this rolling or shimmying down my legs. I suppose all the drama underneath is keeping it held up in place too.

These also come with a small cotton gusset to them, so you can wear these without underwear. They also have an antibacterial finish to them.

My Thoughts?

A really nice pair, but I didn’t see its purpose. I liked them as a pair of seamed tights with a nice bit of firmness at the top, but I didn’t feel the lifting effect it supposedly has. Aside from that, I liked the seams, I liked the look and these were a great pair to be in.
