Fiore Belvedere 40 Tights

I got something a little different this time. I normally don’t go for tights like this, but I decided to give it a chance and see if they change my mind.

My Outfit

I haven’t worn this dress in a while, and thought it would work well with these tights. Instead of adding blue heels, I went for a blocked slingback heel instead.

The Review

From The Website: Belvedere, a 40-denier tight, is ideal for cooler weather. The subtle vertical stripe imparts the illusion of longer legs and adds a fashionable touch. These tights feature a ribbed effect with a semi-sheer panel for added style.

The Packaging

Once again, sending my apologies for another missed video!

Getting Them On: I did my usual scrunch and roll, and they easily glided up the legs this morning. They were fine going over my anklets too. I didn’t have to tug or pull at them; my main focus was keeping those lines as straight as possible!

On The Legs: okay so these are different, and honestly I am not too sure how I feel about them. I thought I would love them, but I still have mixed feelings. I think if they were slightly sheerer they might look better on me, but right now I’m not really feeling them. It’s a shame as they looked like they had potential – never mind…

The quality of them are ok; I do feel these snag a lot easier than usual for Fiore. Luckily I managed to catch just the one which I could easily hide.

The fit of these are good; I had plenty of stretch to them as you can see below. I decided to size up just in case, but I suppose that meant the tights became a little more opaque on the legs. If you’re unsure, definitely size up on these.

The feel of them are semi-smooth, but I wasn’t too much of a fan. They ended up causing some friction between my dress, which started to push/pull the stripes out of place. Probably not a good idea doing a bodycon with these.

The Toes & Ankle: these come with reinforced toes to them, with a plain black cap going around the toes before the stripes come into play. I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added either.

Around the feet and ankles, I had a smooth finish with no wrinkling.

The Waistband & Gusset: as you can see below, the stripes come right to the waistband, so you have the option to wear shorter clothing with these.

The waistband itself is decent enough; it holds up well with no issues and doesn’t roll down on itself either. I thought it might. but luckily it didn’t.

These come with a cotton gusset, which sits flush against the skin too.

My Thoughts?

Honestly, these aren’t for me. I am glad I tried them out for a review, but I don’t think I would be wearing them again. I didn’t like how opaque they looked. Apart from that, they are a decent pair for sure!
