Femme Luxe Clothing Review (Part 15)

Now I have my hands on a little mix of dresses; both casual and a little dressy. I wanted to do a mix, but couldn’t decide on tops and bottoms, so I went for dresses instead this time. Plus it means I get to wear hosiery too!

Oh before I forget to add, the holdups I am wearing are the Adrian Rosette Holdups in Beige in the size XS-S. I have reviewed these a very long time ago in the colour white, which you can find after a lot of scrolling on my Instagram page (how I used to review back before this platform arrived)

Outfit 1 : Tan Ribbed Wrap Bat Wing Bodycon Mini Dress (Bailey)

Colour: Tan

Size: 6

Website: Femme Luxe – Bodycon Dresses

My Thoughts: as much as I like the look of this dress, it was a total disappointment. There is no stretch in it at all, to the point I really struggled to get it on and off me. And you can hardly move in it either. I would have opted for a larger size if I had known. The colour isn’t too bad considering, and the look is pretty great too – it’s just everything else about it that gives it a low rating.

My Rating: 3/10

Outfit 2 : Black Satin Draped Mini Dress (Tatiana)

Colour: Black

Size: 6

Website: Femme Luxe – Mini Dresses

My Thoughts: another dress which was super hard to get off. I managed to get it on ok (somehow) but it was such a pain to take off – can you imagine a heavy night out and struggling to get it off… Not a good combination my friend. Apart from that, I loved the look of it and loved how the lower par ruched at the back and sides. The sleeves were a let-down as they were boxy, and from a side view they don’t look attractive at all. I will say I do like the little subtle touches; the 2 buttons at the back of the neck which I thought was real pretty.

My Rating: 6/10

Outfit 3 : Khaki Satin Bodice Shirt Dress (Liza)

Colour: Khaki

Size: XS

Website: Femme Luxe – Mini Dresses

My Thoughts: well this shirt dress is way better without the corset to it. It did nothing for me, unless you have a big bust and actually need this. I felt the shirt on its own was pretty nice and you could style it many ways. I wasn’t keen on the belt it came with at all. The fit was great otherwise and I loved the colour of it as well!

My Rating: 7/10

Outfit 4 : Black Belted Long Line Hoodie Dress (Theo)

Colour: Black

Size: S/M (8/10)

Website: Femme Luxe – Hoody Dresses

My Thoughts: this has to be my favourite piece out of the bunch. It’s lightweight, it’s one that you can tie or leave loose around the waist and it’s super comfortable. This would work perfect in warmer weather as it isn’t lined and is quite thin to touch, but I love it because it fits me well, I did’t have any issues with it at all and it looks pretty great on to.

My Rating: 9/10
