Femme Luxe Clothing Review (Part 10)

Now I have a nice little mix here of clothing which you can mix and match to create some great looks!

Now I won’t be doing a YouTube review on these items as I thought it would be easier to do a blog with still images and close ups instead seeing as a lot of you prefer this instead of a video!

Outfit 1 : Black Satin Ruched Side Slip Mini Dress (Maeve)

Colour: Black

Size: 6

Website: Femme Luxe – Slip Dresses

My Thoughts: so once I got this on, I have to say it did look nice but it’s pretty boxy. It doesn’t have much shaping to it (which I suppose some slip dresses don’t) but I prefer a little at least so it doesn’t make me look chubbier than I actually am. The front looked great, whereas the back sits a little low. Not to mention that if you pull this up to sit a little higher, the straps just keep on falling down. They aren’t adjustable in any way, which does suck, unless you can find a hack where you can make them a little shorter? Either way, I think it’s a cute dress but maybe not for me.

My Rating: 6/10

Outfit 2 : Black Mesh Organza Mini Shirt Dress (Sadie)

Colour: Black

Size: XS (6-8)

Website: Femme Luxe – Dresses

My Thoughts: now this piece I am so glad it comes with a satin slip underneath. I did wonder if they were just gonna send the dress and nothing else – but it does come as a 2-piece item. I have to say this looks super cute and I love the way it looks on! It is supposed to look all baggy and oversized, with a fitted dress underneath – before any says it looks too big. Another great touch is the tie belt at the front with an elasticated back band to help keep the scrunched look. The only downfall with this dress will be how easily it will crease!

My Rating: 9/10

Outfit 3 : Khaki PU Cuffed Joggers (Sophie) & Black Mesh Sleeve String Tie Crop Top (Flaca)

Colour: Khaki / Black

Size: Small (8/10) & 6

Website: Femme Luxe – Joggers & Femme Luxe – Crop Tops

My Thoughts: now I wanted to do 2 items as an outfit instead of separately. The top itself is a little too short for my liking; it sits just past my bra which means you have a whole load of skin on show. I sat my joggers around my belly button so there isn’t too much flesh and it looks skimpy here. I do love the sleeves on the top and that tie waist is great; you have enough length in the strings to wrap around twice and do a good bow at the back. I’m sure there are plenty more ways you can style it, but I went for a basic look today. The joggers are great for winter; they’re super thick and thinly lined inside too. You can sit these as ankle length like I did as the cuff is super elasticated so it won’t be falling down on you, or you can keep it ankle length. You can tighten at the waist as well – the string is not just for show 🙂

My Rating: 8/10
