My Outfit
Keep it super simple, and the skirt as my statement piece – I paired my polo top with my tweed skirt and added suede ankle strap court shoes. I think the outfit worked really well. You can always add a pop of colour so it doesn’t seem too dark.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: doing the scrunch and roll this morning with this pair was a little tough around the top. They have a ‘control top’ part to it, which then works into normal material. I couldn’t stretch these out as much as I normally would, but not a bad thing knowing it can work.
I rolled them up my legs, taking care of anklets as I do this. They were a lovely smooth glide up.
On The Legs: well I gotta say I am loving the look of this pair! I love how smooth they are on the legs, and how the matte finish works with the outfit. This helps the denier look darker (well in my opinion anyways). It certainly is one of my favourites.
The quality is pretty nice, until I managed to snag these super easy on the thighs. Luckily, the snag was high up so I could hide it but I was not impressed. This happened 1st thing in the morning, and I was praying it didn’t turn into anything else before I came to do this review and the shoot. Apart from that, they lasted well during the day with no further issues.
The fit was great as I went a size higher. This is probably why they are darker in denier compared to a smaller size, where they would be stretched out more. Either way, I didn’t mind that as it gave me extra stretch to get great coverage on the legs. I had no gapping occur around the legs, which made me a happy panda.
The feel of them are so smooth, and really lovely to touch. These are a full matte finish, however they still feel really smooth compared to other brands where they can feel quite rough and grainy. I liked that these were different. Oh and they didn’t rub against the skirt either; that was a testing point to see – they just glided right past. These also don’t irritate the legs in any way, so it’s a win win!
The Toes & Ankle: unfortunately the toes are not reinforced here, so you will need to make sure that you keep those nails perfect to make sure you don’t end up poking holes through. They are quite thick, so naturally there is some reinforcement in the material, but nothing extra just for the toes.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was added either. They were super comfortable around the feet all day. Around the feet and ankle, it was a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkling.
The Waistband & Gusset: now this is the part where it’s got it all going on. We have a control top from the waistband down to the top of the thigh.
To me, these felt between light-medium in terms of the body-sculpting part. I did like the fact these had the control part, especially under bodycon skirts or fitted clothing – it gives the illusion that it’s tucking you in a little, giving you a smoother look. The best test will be under a bodycon dress!
These come with a cotton gusset, which sits perfectly against the skin. You have the option to go commando or wear with underwear – personal preference here.
My Thoughts?
I really liked this pair, and how great they look. The matte finish is brilliant for this time of year, and they felt great all day. The only issue was the snag I got randomly, but apart from that I love this pair and would happily recommend!
