Feeling like a little Hellbunny today. I do love a vintage-inspired look, and today I am going just for that for no reason. I wanted to glam up, especially when I have a great pair of deep lace holdups to review.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: being delicate is key here. I always take care when handling Falke holdups and stockings, because they always seem to be ultra delicate. I did my scrunch and roll carefully wearing hosiery gloves, taking care going over my anklets. I then rolled them up gently and placed them higher up the thigh.
On The Legs: for a 15 denier pair, these are looking pretty damn good! I love how these actually make my legs look a little slimmer – this is what great hosiery can do for you!
The quality – beautiful! I love this pair, along with my other Falke pairs I have tried and tested previously. The quality never fails me, and I love Falke for this. These didn’t snag or rip once, which is always a bonus in my eyes. As long as you take care in them, they will take care of you.
The fit is brilliant. The best part is that I did not have to tug them up the legs to sit them higher up the thigh. They naturally chose to sit there and I was not complaining. I would advise making sure you check your size before ordering, and go one size up if you need to. I had plenty of stretch in mine to make them sit higher up the leg.
The feel of them were lovely. They were silky smooth, so my dress just brushed against them rather than rubbing against. They were a great pair to be in without any issues or skin irritation.
The Toes & Ankle: these come with super cute reinforced toes to them. To the point they only cover the toenails. I like this concept so the reinforcement doesn’t show when wearing whatever footwear you choose, however I feel it could be a little bigger so it covers a little more of the toes just for my peace of mind. I like that they cover a small area, however my personal preference is having a little more.
I didn’t feel any pressure on the toes during the day, and these allowed my toes to wiggle in them when needed.
Around the feet and ankles, it’s a smooth finish with no wrinkling.
The Bands: with all this lace, comes 2 silicone bands located at the top of the welt. Now I expected more considering it’s a thick welt, but this is what you get. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad thing as they did their job well and held up without any issues all day long. But it would have been nice and reassuring if it was at least 3 for that extra support.
These lasted well all day, without it peeling away from the skin or rolling down due to loss of tackiness. I was impressed for sure.
I love how much lace coverage is on the thigh too. This is not a pair that would be sitting mid-thigh unless you want the whole lace welt exposed. I like that you have a good length of sheer nylon before it becomes intricate with lace. This is one reason why I love deep welt holdups.
My Thoughts?
I am a happy panda for sure. I love this pair, and that welt is to die for. It’s a lovely pair to save for special occasions, or just to wear generally (however you feel!) I would happily recommend!
