FALKE Leaves Dream Tights
W are back in Falke after a long time – and I am super super happy to try these out. I saw them a while back, and I loved the bold print. So I had to add these to my wishlist, and a beautiful person kindly gifted them.

My Outfit
I decided to do a blue and yellow combination, as I was feeling a little bold today (and I haven’t worn this dress for a while). Against the yellow, the blue is quite dark, to the point it can look a little more on the black side.
I did pair this outfit with my court shoes to finish the look.

The Packaging
Getting Them On: as these are mostly a lovely lace against a sheer base, you have to take that extra bit of care getting them on. I rolled them slowly past my anklets and then up the legs. I had to set them in place,, so the end of the lace was even (as much as possible) on the thigh.
On The Legs: I really love this design. It’s bold, it’s a statement, it’s floral, it’s so damn classy! I love that we have such a heavy pattern from the toes to the thigh and then it switches to a sheer gap. It gives the illusion of a mock over-knee (well thigh here) look and I absolutely love it. These would look amazing with a pair of shorts or a mini skirt to really flaunt them. I wanted to pair up a bold look for work, hence why I went for a longer dress.
The quality of this pair are just gorgeous. You can feel they are made well as soon as you glide them up the legs. I will say with the lace part especially, these can snag easily. I did manage to do it on the sheer part somehow, but you will ned to take care in them for sure. Apart from that little mishap, they have been so good to me today.
The fit of these are great. As these are a duo size, they give you that extra little material so you get better coverage without having to stretch them out too much. At first I did think it was a little too dark, and it could do with stretching out a little more, however I didn’t mind it shading a little darker. I think these would certainly suit shorter clothing.
The feel of them are super soft, and yes I also mean the lace part too! These were lovely going up the legs, and they didn’t irritate me during the day. I could easily be in these for another 6 hours to be honest, as they were so nice against the skin.
I wanted to say that I do like the blue, rather than getting the black pair. I do feel the blue isn’t as bold and harsh as the black pair would be. Plus it is something a little different too. I will say these can look like they are a light black in different lighting, but just know it’s a lovely darker blue.
The Toes & Ankle: sadly these do not come with reinforced toes, so you will need to take care with long/sharp nails. The plus point is that these can be worn with any type of footwear, as you aren’t restricted with a reinforced strip.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and no pressure was put onto them during the day either.
I also had a lovely smooth finish around the feet and ankles. Not gonna lie, I did expect some wrinkling around the ankles – and nothing!
The Waistband & Gusset: now I have to say I do love this whole look, and the waistband too.
We have a great lace brief working all around the hip and top thigh, giving the illusion of matching briefs. I thought it looked amazing, and it’s that little something extra that makes them pop.
The waistband itself is awesome; we have a lovely slim band that keep the tights held up all day without any issues. It hugged my waist, and did not shimmy down once It also didn’t roll over itself creating a little bump under my dress. I normally worry about that type of thing, especially under anything bodycon!
The gusset sits flush against the skin, and is super comfortable and breathable.
My Thoughts?
These have to be one of my favourite pairs that can work all year round, and be paired up with so many outfits to create different looks. I always love the quality of Falke pairs, and the fit was great too. If you like patterns, and something a little different – this is the pair I would recommend to you.
