I am back in socks, after such a long time and I am creating a super fun, flirty look. I bought these a while ago, and haven’t had the chance to get them out until now. I wanted to create a Spring look with an outfit I haven’t worn for a long while!

The Packaging
Getting Them On: now these are pretty nice to be rough and ready with. I did my scrunch and roll, and gently slid them up the feet. I did have to be careful with my nails against the lace, as it did catch on a few times.
The string is stitched onto the side of the socks, so I just wrapped them around the ankle and tied to the side.

On The Feet: with this outfit, these work so well. I love the floral, feminine vibe this oozes.
I do really like the lace work, however I wish the seams were not at the side. I mean I wish they weren’t there at all, but I can’t have everything. Aside from that, I really like them.
The fit is one size, which means it won’t fit all feet (sorry!). And there is no stretch in these at all, which means you may struggle to get them on if you have bigger feet. I’m normally UK 5 – UK 6, and they fit me perfectly.
The feel of these are semi-soft but they do feel a little rough. Once I got past the initial rough feeling, it wasn’t too bad. Luckily they didn’t irritate my skin.

Around The Toes & Ankle: so there are no reinforcement to these, but I didn’t expect any to be as it’s pure lace from toe to ankle. You have the seam at the side of the socks, which I put on the inner side of the leg rather than the other.
I had plenty of wiggle room for my toes to breathe, and there was no pressure added on the toes either.
Around the ankles, without the ribbon these would have a loose fit to them. I didn’t mind the ribbon to be honest, but I wish the ribbon was a little nicer rather than super thin and quite cheap.

My Thoughts?
Overall not a bad pair to be honest; I love the lace work and how cute they look on. But they didn’t have any stretch to them and the lace isn’t the softest to wear all day. I would still recommend but only to wear for short periods of time.
